Mikey's eyes flew open and he shot up in bed. After a couple of seconds of panicking he realised he was awake, he sighed and lay back down. He hadn't had nightmares for ages but they'd started again lately and he wanted Gerard, but he was away trying to sort out the 'problems' with himself and his girlfriend. He got up and went the next best thing.

"Frank Frank wake up" Frank turned over and blinked a few times, trying to work out the shadow stood by his bed. "Mikey you alright?" It was dark but Frank could see that his eyes were puffy and he looked pale "did it happen again?" Mikey nodded "you want in?" Mikey nodded again and Frank moved over, giving Mikey some room to climb in next to him. He smoothed down Mikey's hair "it's alright now, just try to get some sleep" Mikey lay down and closed his eyes. Frank smiled and went back to sleep. This went on for the next few nights. Mikey would go to his own bed, wake up from a nightmare then end up falling asleep in Frank's bed.

"Mikey?" "Yeah?" He looked up and smiled as he saw Frank "why don't you sleep in my bed tonight?" "I probably will" "no I mean, like straight away, don't bother with yours just get changed and come to mine" "why?" "Well you'll probably end there anyway, and you might not have the nightmare" "what makes you think that?" "Well you never have one when you're with me it might just be cause you're on your own" "alright then" Mikey smiled and went off to get changed. Frank sighed, nobody knew but he'd liked Mikey since he first joined the band. Well it was more then liked he had fell for him badly and he enjoyed having Mikey sleeping so close to him, even if it was just as friends. He went upstairs just as Mikey walked out of his room and smiled. "You want me to wait out here while you get changed?" "Na, be all right" Frank walked into his room, Mikey following and going to sit on his bed. Frank turned his back to Mikey as he changed, not that he was embarrassed, but to hide the blush that was creeping up on his face. 'I'm getting changed in front of Mikey oh grow up Frank!' he turned back when he was done and saw Mikey looking around his room. "Mikey?" "Ah your done, I didn't want you to think I was looking, not that theres anything wrong with you but I'm not well your not but err" he trailed off then smiled, Frank grinned and went over to the bed "you want the wall?" Mikey thought for a second "I'm not bothered" "move over then" Mikey crawled over to the other side of the bed and pulled up the covers as Frank climbed in next to him. Frank was almost asleep when Mikey moved "whats the real reason you wanted me to sleep in here tonight?" Frankie opened his eyes and saw Mikey sat up staring at him. He was smiling and there was a cheeky glint in his eyes.

'He knows, no he cant but then whys he smiling maybe he feels the same? No don't be stupid'

"Frank?" "Mikey it's " "You like me don't you?" Frank stopped "um what?" "Frank its obvious" Frank sighed, "you don't mind?" "Frank " Mikey smiled and moved closer to him, kissing him gently. "Mikey I your gay?" Mikey shrugged "but um" Mikey covered Frank's mouth "why do you think I kept on at Gerard to let you in the band?" "Mmf" Mikey removed his hand "sorry what?" "I thought it was cause you thought I was good" "well, that was part of it I've never liked a guy before but you, well your different" "thanks" "no, in a good way, you're funny, smart and an amazing guitar player" "no I'm not I'm a stupid idiot who hides behind stupid pictures on his body" Mikey cupped Frank's cheek, coaxing him to look in his eyes. "Frank you're beautiful, you don't hide behind your tattoos they're part of you, and you wouldn't be the Frank I love without them" Frank smiled "you love me?" "Yeah" "you're joking right?" "No why do you find that so hard to believe?" Frank shrugged "I dunno, I've not exactly had the best experience of love in my life" Mikey leaned over and hugged Frank "I love you too" he murmured into the crook of Mikey's neck "I know" Mikey pulled back and smiled. Frank leaned in and kissed him. Mikey pulled back "why didn't you say before?" "I didn't think you'd like me" "Mikey, why not?" "Cause I'm a geek" Frank laughed "no your not you're my geek" Mikey smiled and shoved Frank; he fell back against the pillows pulling Mikey down with him. He kissed him, gently pushing against his bottom lip until Mikey opened his mouth and they had their first proper kiss. Frank slid his tongue against Mikey's, the other man moaning as Frank pulled him closer. Suddenly Mikey pushed Frank off him "whats wrong?" "We don't have to do anything tonight do we?" Frank smiled at the innocent look on Mikey's face "no sweetie we don't" Mikey smiled and cuddled up against Frank as he lay down. Mikey fell asleep in the arms of a man he loved. He didn't have nightmares that night.
