Comics By Catrina Disclaimer: I do not know, do not own, do not sue. *smiles* All that is in this story is bull. Enjoy. Chapter 1 Michelle was thumbing through a row of comic books looking for nothing in particular. Just something that would catch her curiosity. She didn't really know what it was about comics that drew her attention. She had always been addicted since her cousin gave her one to keep her entertained one day many years ago. She stood around 5'4, had shoulder length black hair and dark brown eyes. She had always been told she was a looker, but never thought on the matter. She was shy, always giving small glances and smiles at people passing by, being sure not to draw attention. She wasn't great at conversations either. Her friends, on the other hand, were always out going and drawing attention. She didn't mind as long as it wasn't thrown at her. 'This one is good,' someone said startling her. She jumped and look at who it was. She smiled at the guy standing there holding a 'Preacher' comic. He was just a little taller than her, slightly short black hair with red chunks in it, and green eyes. She glanced at the comic then at him. She smiled pleasantly and accepted the comic he was trying to hand her and said thanks. He smiled back at her and began to shuffle through the rows next to the one she had been looking through. 'Do you work here?' She asked him flipping through the comic. He looked at her and smiled. 'Gerard at your service.' She couldn't help but let out a small laugh and blush. 'Nice selection,' she said admiring the visual contents of the comic he had handed to her. 'You like it? That's a personal favorite of mine. It's not that popular, but it's amazing,' he said walking up beside her to see the pages. 'See the visuals? Amazing,' he said pointing to certain illustrations. She nodded in agreement. 'Is this your first time in here?' He asked her making eye contact. 'I've been in here once before, but it was a few months ago,' she answered shrugging. 'Well, allow me to show you some house favorites,' he said gesturing towards the back of the store. She smiled and started walking. 'How long have you been interested in comics?' He asked seriously. 'I'm not exactly sure how long, but a while. My cousin gave me one when I was younger and I've been fascinated ever since,' she explained glancing at him. He was nodding his head with a serious look on his face. 'What is the comic you most prefer?' He continued in a serious manner. She laughed to herself thinking it was a 50 question pop quiz. 'Uh, X-Men,' she answered fast. 'Great choice,' he said really impressed. She smiled and blushed. 'You're blushing,' he said amusingly. 'I'm not exactly a social butterfly,' she said looking towards the comics on the back wall. 'You're doing ok,' he said patting her back. She gave him a simple smile. They continued talking about comics until Gerard's manager called him to the front. 'I'll be right back,' he said taking off to the front. She watched him jog away smiling pleasantly. She thought about some of the things she had said that sounded so stupid to her. She turned back to the wall looking at the comics that he had suggested. They were beautifully illustrated and were not like the typical comics out there. The language used was more to fit the teens than of the super hero lingo that you had to really think about. She liked that. She began to think about Gerard. How easy he was to talk to and how different he was from the other guys that she had encountered. She really liked him. She laughed quietly shaking her head. 'What's funny?' He asked looking over her shoulder with a puzzled _expression. 'Oh, nothing. I was just thinking to myself,' she said putting the comic back where she got it from. 'About me?' He asked squinting at her. She gave a small laugh and shook her head no. 'Ok. Listen, what are you doing after you leave here?' He asked shifting has weight back and forth on his legs. 'I'm not sure. There was another comic book store that I saw down the street,' she said gesturing the direction. 'They suck, you don't want to go there,' he said laughing. She thought of how delicate his features looked. How perfectly proportioned his face was and his smile. She smiled at the thoughts. 'I get off in 15 minutes. You wanna do something? Go grab a bite to eat?' He asked slightly blushing. She smiled shyly and said yes. 'Alright! You can chill here or go sit in the back. We have a lot more comics back there that no one knows of,' he explained pointing to the black door with a sign saying 'Employees Only' in red. 'Ok,' she answered brushing the hair out of her face. He smiled and headed back to the front. She reached the door and slowly pushed it open, peeking inside. She looked around the door, making sure no one else was in there and stepped in. She closed the door quietly behind her and looked in amazement at the piles of comics laying about. Some were in plastic sleeves, others just sitting there. Piles upon piles of comics waiting to go out on the floor. 'Geez,' she said out loud wandering through them, most of them she had never heard of before. She found a stool and sat on it, marveling at the quantity of comics that surrounded her. She looked beside her and found some drawings laying on top of a folder. She picked the top drawing up and examined it. It was a rough sketch of what she guessed as a comic in the works. The shuffled through the other drawings that were laying there. She got to the bottom of the pile where the folder was. She picked it up and opened it reading 'Gerard Way' scribbled on the inside. 'Wow, talented.' she said looking back at the drawings. She sat there looking through each on as if it were a priceless piece of ancient art. 'You like them?' Gerard said behind her. 'Holy shit!' She said loud slamming down the drawings. He started laughing. 'I didn't even hear you come in,' she said grabbing her chest in shock. 'The door doesn't make any sounds,' he informed her, still amused at scaring her. 'Ready?' He asked glancing at her as he gathered the drawings up and placing them in the folder. 'Those are yours?' She asked mentally kicking her own ass for asking such a question. 'Yeah, I'm actually taking art classes. I'm inspired to create cartoons,' he said tucking it into a book bag that was under the table and throwing it over his shoulder. 'You're very talented,' she commented grabbing her bag that she had. He led her out of the room and into the store walking towards the front. 'By the way, what's your name?' He asked looking at her. 'Michelle,' she answered blushing a little. 'Why are you blushing?' She thought to herself. 'See you later, dude,' Gerard called to the guy behind the counter as they walked out the door. 'Alright man,' he called back watching them. Chapter 2 After walking for a while, Gerard finally suggested a small, quiet cafˇ on a busy street. 'Why is it so lonesome?' Michelle asked confused. 'I've never figured that out, but it has some great food,' Gerard said opening the door. 'Thanks,' she said carefully stepping inside and looking around. It was a cute cafˇ. Had sort of a 60's feel to it. Gerard led her to a private booth in the back corner. She slid in the side against the wall facing the entrance followed by Gerard. He gave a shy smile and said, 'I hate having my back to the doors.' 'Me too,' she said smiling. The waitress walked in front of the table with a pad, pen and two menus, greeting them with a friendly smile and asked what they would like to drink while setting the menus in front of them. 'Tea,' they said at the same time and looked at each other smiling. After getting their drinks and ordering the food, it took about 15 minutes to get the food. There was small conversation over the food. Michelle wasn't much of a talker when she ate. After they finished eating, they sat in the booth talking about anything and everything. Mainly the people walking by or dining in the cafˇ. They sat and laughed for hours. Michelle could talk to him so easily it was strange. 'Would you like to meet some of my friends?' Gerard asked her drinking the last of his tea. 'Sure,' she answered with a huge smile. Gerard paid for the meal ticket and they walked outside into the cool evening air. 'These guys that I'm introducing you to are my band mates. We play some of the local bars,' he told her proudly. 'That's awesome. What kind of music?' Michelle asked switching her gaze from his face to the path she was walking. 'Eh, people label it as post-hardcore, punk, metal. I don't like to give it a label. We play what we play,' he answered shrugging kicking at the ground as they walked. They walked a few more blocks until they reached a neighborhood. 'Few more blocks,' he told her bumping her arm with his elbow. She smiled shyly and walked a little closer to him. He pushed his elbow out gesturing for her to take it. She smiled and wrapped her arm around his bringing her closer to him. They came up to a brown house on a corner and he stopped and faced it. He looked down at Michelle and nudged his head toward the house and said, 'We're here.' She looked up at the two-story house admiring house simple it was. 'You'll have to excuse the mess inside. I'm not sure if there is one, but I'm betting there is,' he announced leading her up to the door with his hand on the small of her back. She really enjoyed the comforting feeling it brought. Gerard opened the door slowly and peeked around it. 'Wait here,' he said to Michelle disappearing inside. She heard some voices then some running steps. She let out a quiet laugh just thinking about what they were running for. The door opened up all the way with Gerard standing in the entrance. 'Do come in,' he smiled swaying his arm to the inside. She stepped across the threshold and into the living room. She glanced around noticing the mess of cups and ashtrays filled with cigarette butts. She sniffed and blow out real fast. Stale cigarette smoke and alcohol consumed her. 'Wow,' she said with a faint smile. Gerard gave a small laugh and apologized for the mess and smell. 'We're all bachelors. It hardly ever gets cleaned,' he said blushing. 'What's up dude?' A guy called trotting down the stairs. 'Hey, man,' Gerard said giving him a hug. 'Hi. I'm Frank,' he said sticking his hand out for a hand shake. 'Michelle,' she said shaking his hand. He was quite attractive with a cute baby face and messy shaggy hair. Only a few tattoos. Gorgeous eyes. He was slightly chubby in the face but looked good. 'Not everyone is here yet, Mikey is though,' Frank announced. 'Mikey's my younger brother,' Gerard whispered to Michelle. She nodded her head still looking around at the mess. 'Hey, I warned you,' he said giving a small laugh and kicking a cup out of the walkway. Michelle walked into the living room still looking the place over. She stopped in the middle of the room and looked at Gerard. He blushed and looked towards the stairs. 'Hey bro,' a guy said. She assumed that it was Mikey as he walked to Gerard, giving him a hug. He was about Gerard's height and had short blondish hair. He kind of resembled Gerard in some ways, but a stick figure version. She laughed to herself about the stick figure description that she thought of. 'This is Michelle,' Gerard told him pointing to her. 'Mikey,' he said giving her a small wave. She returned the gesture. A phone started ringing and Mikey ran for it. Gerard walked into the living room looking around the place. 'You can sit on the couch or chair, just feel it before... you... sit,' he said making a funny face. Michelle couldn't help but laugh. 'I'll stand,' she said looking at the couch and glancing at the chair. Mikey walked back into the room with a disappointed look on his face. 'Matt can't make it, and Ray is running way late,' he informed Gerard. Gerard let out an annoyed sigh and said ok. 'No practice,' he said turning towards Michelle. She raised her eyebrows and he gave her a little laugh. 'You want to go to my place?' She asked him kicking a plastic cup that was laying on the floor in front of her. 'Sure, I'll be right back,' he said taking off up the stairs. She walked around the living room that had nothing but posters on the walls. A majority of them being Iron Maiden. The walls were a deep dark burgundy color with many nail holes and scuff marks. The windows were covered with black blankets substituting as curtains. 'Definitely a bachelor pad,' she thought to herself. Gerard came tromping back down the stairs and Michelle met him by the door. 'I'll be back later, guys!' He called out opening the door for her. They yelled back in acknowledgement as they walked out, closing the door behind them. They walked a few neighborhoods over to her street. It was quite a walk, but wasn't too bad. They finally reached her apartment, she unlocked the door, and they stepped in, closing the door. The place was immaculate. She had pictures and paintings hung up on the wall, furniture was clean and the carpet was perfect. 'Wow,' Gerard said looking around. She gave a small laugh and headed towards the kitchen. 'Want something to drink?' She called out to him as she took some glasses out of the cabinet and set them on the counter. He walked around the corner into the kitchen smiling. 'What would you like?' She asked opening the refrigerator. 'Got some orange juice?' He asked glancing in it. She grabbed the jug and poured some in each glass. They went back to the living room and sat down on the couch. There was a long streak of silence. Hey would trade glances and giggle. 'A movie?' She asked pointing to the entertainment center opposite the couch. Gerard jumped up and opened the door, picking a random movie. He started the movie and sat back down on the couch next to Michelle, scooting a little closer. She propped her legs up on the coffee table and Gerard did the same, slumping down into the couch. Michelle jumped up real quick and turned the light off, sat back down on the couch and got comfortable, inching closer to Gerard, just enough to touch arms. Through out the movie they inched closer to each other, playfully holding hands and using each others legs as props. By the end of the movie they were making out, not even paying any mind to the fact that the movie had ended. He was being careful not to touch her anywhere that he deemed as inappropriate until she climbed up on his lap and proceeded to take her shirt off. He put his hands on her shoulders and pushed her back enough to where she'd stop kissing him. 'Are you sure?' He asked her making certain she made eye contact with him. She grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it up over his head and tossed it behind the couch. 'Okay,' he said smiling and started kissing her again. He stood up with her in his arms and carried her to her room, laying her on the bed softly. She took her shoes and socks off and laid back on the pillows watching him. He took off his shoes and socks along with his pants, leaving his boxers on. He went to the foot of the bed and crawled up between her legs up to where he was face to face with her. She smiled and blushed as he looked her in the eye. 'You're sure?' He asked her again. She just looked at him with no _expression. 'I don't want to do anything to you that you don't want me to. I want you to be sure you're ready to do this with me. No regrets,' he explained carefully. 'Yes,' she said grabbing his face and bringing it down to hers for a passionate kiss. She reached down to her pants undoing them and pushing them to her feet with her panties, kicking them off. She wrapped her legs around his waist pulling him down on her. She could feel he was ready and took it upon herself to push his boxers down, exposing his desire for her. He stopped kissing her and looked her in the eye as he entered her for the first time. She made a painful face that quickly turned into pleasure. He watched her facial expressions carefully as he quickened his pace, making sure she wasn't uncomfortable in any way. She began to moan and claw at his back as she reached her climax causing him to become even more excited, going faster and harder. He knew she reached her peek as she arched her back, moaning and tightening up around his member, making it hard for him to move because it felt so good. He let out a small cry, not being able to hold it back any longer, feeling himself explode inside her. He collapsed on top of her, burying his face in her hair that laid on the pillow. She rubbed his back and cradled his head in her arm, kissing his shoulder. He rolled over to his side laying beside her, still holding her in his arms. She remained wrapped around him, taking in every scent his body gave off, drifting off to sleep. Chapter 3 Michelle woke up the next morning alone. She looked around the room, none of his clothes, nothing. She got up and put a robe on and walked out of her room and into the bathroom. There was a note taped to the mirror. A pleased smile spread across her face. 'I had to leave early for work. Hope you have a great day and come by the store if you get a chance. -Gerard' Her smile grew wider reading his words scratched onto the paper. She performed her usual morning functions at a slow pace, not feeling the need to rush since it was only 9 AM. She made her bed and gathered her things up to leave the apartment. It was a quiet walk to downtown, nothing but the buzz of cars traveling down the street, car horns, people conversing at a distance. Same old, same old. As she neared the comic book store, she heard someone call out her name. She turned around and saw Frank jogging towards her. She smiled and waved. 'Going to Gerard's work?' He asked catching up to her. 'Yeah. I have a comic in mind that I want,' she lied. 'Oh yeah? Which one?' He asked messing with his hair. 'X-Men Vol. 12,' she thought of right off the top of her head. 'Awesome. I don't know why I even asked, I'm not that into comics personally,' he laughed. She laughed at his honesty. He opened the door for her and walked in after her. Gerard was leaning on the counter talking to a little boy about a comic. He turned around to see who came in the door and smiled to see Frank and Michelle standing there. 'Hey guys!' he called out. 'Hey,' they said at the same time laughing at each other. 'I tell you what. You can have this as long as you promise to come back and visit me to talk about comics,' Gerard told the boy, handing him the comic. 'Alright! I promise!' The boy said excitedly and ran out of the store to his mother that was outside. 'That was sweet,' Michelle told him as he walked over to them. 'Keeps them coming back and I can manipulate him into becoming a comic book fanatic,' he said coming around the counter, giving her a huge hug and a kiss. 'What's up, man?' Gerard said giving Frank a 'manly' hug. Frank smirked at him and walked into an aisle. Gerard watched him walk away and turned back to Michelle. She watched Frank then looked at Gerard smiling. 'What are you doing today?' He asked her wrapping his arms around her pulling her into a hug. 'Well, I thought I'd stop by and see you, then go to a regular book shop,' she answered laying her head on his chest. 'Interesting,' he said and gave her a quick peck on the lips. 'Gerard!' Frank called from an aisle. He mouthed be right back to Michelle and took off. She stood there for a moment thinking of something to do, then started walking toward the counter where random comics were strung all over it. She began to shuffle though them, not looking for anything unparticular. As she moved some comics to the side, semi trying to straighten them, she saw a note. She had never been good at keeping her curiosity at bay so she turned it towards her a little, just enough to make out some words. It was scratchy hand-writing, difficult to read. She concentrated on it, making out a sentence. 'We have to do it soon' is what the words read with the scribble drawing of a bloody stick figure. She glanced at the bottom and Frank's name was sloppily written. She frowned and looked at the top to see Gerard's name at the beginning. 'Find anything you like?' Frank asked standing behind her. She turned around messing up the comics to cover up the note. 'Nope,' she said casually smiling at him. 'Come on, I'll show you were some good comics are,' he said holding his arm out for her. She grabbed it and walked with him. They spent hours walking around the store talking about comics. She did most of the talking considering he didn't pay too much attention to comics. She became fond of Frank. The way he smiled and acted like he was paying attention, not wanting to hurt her feelings in any way. Gerard would walk by and tickle Michelle every few minutes. It was finally time for Gerard to get off work. They had plans to practice tonight and so far, the plans were still set. They walked to the guys' house, all of them full of excitement for the practice. Michelle could tell that they really loved their music and was eager for her to hear it. When they walked in the house, the others were there messing with their equipment, tuning guitars, adjusting drums, all that good stuff. The guys moved a couch in front of the set up for Michelle to sit and be a single person audience. The practice didn't last too long because Gerard and Frank had something that they had to do. 'How do you like the music?' Gerard asked her as she complimented the guys on a job well done. 'Wow, it's different,' she answered laughing. 'Is that a bad thing or a good thing?' He asked smiling. 'It's good,' she said smirking. 'It better be,' he teased and gave her a quick kiss. 'I've got something I have to do with Frank right now. Do you want us to walk you to your house? Ray has a car, he can give you a lift,' he explained motioning to Ray. She glanced at Ray and he jingled his car keys in the air. 'That will be fine,' she said turning back to Gerard. 'Okay, I'll see you later. Maybe tonight,' he said giving her a kiss and walking out the door with Frank. Twenty minutes later, Ray was ready to go and escorted Michelle out to his car. The ride to her apartment was mostly quiet, until a few blocks away. 'How long have you known Gerard?' Ray asked her not taking his eyes off the road. She looked over at him in surprise and answered, 'Two days.' He nodded his head. He didn't say anything else until she began to get out of the car. 'Just watch yourself, okay?' He said looking at her. She frowned thinking it was a threat to her. She thanked him for the ride and walked to her apartment. He waited until she got in to leave. She thought about what Ray meant by what he said as she walked around her apartment, changing clothes and fixing her something to eat. She started a movie and sat on the couch. Just as she got comfortable, someone knocked on her door. 'What the hell?' She said out loud and looked through the peep hole. Frank was standing there. She opened the door and invited him in. He just smiled and walked in casually, looking around. She watched him walk in, checked outside for anyone else, then closed the door. 'Nice place,' he said still looking around the room. 'Thanks. Where's Gerard?' She asked watching him closely. He shrugged. She nodded and sat down on the couch, followed by Frank. He sat down on the opposite side and looked at Michelle. She looked ahead of her, pretending not to notice. 'What's wrong?' He asked eyeing her. She turned to look at him and gave a quick smile shaking her head. 'Don't lie, you're nervous,' he said leaning towards her. She leaned the opposite direction. He let out a small laugh and leaned back. She sighed with relief and relaxed a little, still alert of him. 'Were you this jumpy with Gerard?' He asked cutting his eyes at her. 'No,' she laughed. 'Then why are you with me?' He continued. 'You're not him, I guess,' she answered shrugging. He nodded in acceptance. 'Well, I'll be off,' he said getting up. She began to stand up and he stopped her. 'I know where the door is sweetie, no need,' he smiled. She watched him walk out the door, waving back to him as he closed it. She sat there in confusion for a minute, not understanding what that was about. The diverted her attention back to the TV. It was about 2 hours later and there was another knock on the door. Michelle got up and stormed to the door, thinking it was Frankie again. 'What?' She asked throwing the door open to see Gerard standing there. He had a surprised look on his face. 'I'm sorry,' she said laughing. 'You okay?' He asked her walking into the apartment and looking around. 'Yeah, it's just that Frankie was here earlier acting strange,' she answered closing the door. 'Frankie was here?' He asked with a look of concern. 'Yeah,' she said carefully. 'What did he say?' He said stepping closer to her. 'Nothing, really. He was just acting weird, like you are now,' she said smiling at him eccentrically. He stood there eyeing her apprehensively. 'What?' She said breaking the silence. He shook his head and sat on the couch motioning for her to join him. She sat beside him and they cuddled, watching more movies. ------------------ Chapter 4 Gerard didn't have to work the next day so he spent it with Michelle. She tried to forget the way they both acted last night, but she couldn't. 'Why were you acting like that last night?' She asked glancing at him on the couch from the kitchen. 'Huh? What do you mean?' He asked giving her a funny look. She narrowed her eyes at him and didn't say anything. He had a thoughtful look on his face as he tried to remember. 'You seriously don't remember?' She asked with a small laugh. He shook his head raising his eyebrows. 'You came in here paranoid of something then got all weird when I told you Frankie was here,' she blurted out. 'Oh!' He said jumping up. 'I was confused, it happens. I wonder how Frankie found out where you live?' He continued seeming to talk to himself more than her. She watched him as he walked to the window, peeking out trying not to move the blind too much. He turned to look at her frowning. 'Did he touch anything?' He asked. 'He sat on the couch,' she said slowly, shrugging. He bit his lip with no comment, looking at the couch. 'What the hell? You're creeping me out, Gerard,' she said getting his attention. He smiled and walked up to her, giving her a hug. 'I'm off my rocker today, don't mind me,' he said kissing her forehead. 'Off your rocker? Should I even be around you?' She asked laughing but being serious. He looked down at her baffled. 'You don't feel safe around me?' He asked frowning. 'Yes and no,' she answered. 'What's the supposed to mean?' He asked letting her go and backing up. 'Well,' she began saying, gathering her thoughts, 'Ray told me to watch myself, then Frank comes over acting strange, then there's you behavior. You're acting like you killed someone or you're hiding from someone.' He let out a little laugh. 'I'm serious,' she said putting her hands on her hips. 'I know, sweetie. It's just... You sound so freaked out about nothing,' he said smiling. 'It's not 'nothing' to me,' she said doing the 'air quotes' with her fingers. He chuckled, pulling her into a hug. 'Forget about it. It's nothing, really,' he whispered still surveying the room. She noticed it, but decided not to say anything. A few hours passed with peace, watching TV, laughing, cuddling, reading comics to each other. Michelle really liked Gerard. He was unlike any other she had ever known. He was real, nothing like the guys that her friends drooled over. There was a knock on the door. 'I'll get it,' Gerard said getting up and walking to the door. He opened it and stepped back, letting Frank walk in. He smiled at Michelle and turned back to Gerard. 'Practice?' Frank said to Gerard. 'Oh shit, I forgot,' Gerard said getting his shoes. Frank turned back to Michelle motioning for her to get ready. She walked to her room and changed, putting her shoes on. She walked back into the living room and stopped. Gerard had Frank up against the wall by his throat. Frank looked at Michelle, causing Gerard to look, and let Frank go. 'We play like that,' Frank said punching Gerard in the side. 'You mother... yeah,' Gerard groaned and whispered, clutching his side. They walked out of Michelle's apartment, locking the door behind them. Gerard and Frank picked on each other all the way down the stairs, pretending to push each other. Michelle watched them, not amused, wondering what just happened in there. They got in Frank's car. Gerard sat in the back with Michelle, leaving Frank in the front by himself. 'What was that?' Michelle asked Gerard in his ear. He cut his eyes at her frowning, indicating he had no idea what she was talking about. 'You and Frank, in my apartment,' she explained. He smiled and looked at Frank in the rear view mirror. 'Love taps,' he said looking at her. She made a funny face at him and looked out the window. The pulled up to the house. Gerard tickled Michelle out of the car and all the way to the front door. Ray swung the front door open to see what was happening. Gerard stopped and stood up straight holding Michelle, Frank was cracking up walking past Ray. 'Hey,' Gerard said walking behind Michelle into the house. 'Sounded like you were trying to kill her out there,' Ray said closing the door. 'Tickle tickle,' Gerard said grabbing her sides. She let out a yelp and ran into Frank. 'Whow!' He cried out stumbling and grabbing her. Gerard tickled her some more as Frank held her. Ray turned away, going to his guitar. Everyone got assembled and began practicing. Michelle watched on the couch, jamming the whole time. After the practice was over, everyone disappeared, except for Ray. He was messing with his guitar as Michelle sat quietly on the couch watching him. He looked at her, looked around the house to see if anyone else was around, then walked over to the couch, sitting beside her. 'Have you noticed anything weird about Gerard or Frank?' He asked almost whispering. She looked at him, contemplating his question. 'No,' she answered keeping her eyes on him. 'Again, I'm going to ask you to please watch yourself. Please,' he said getting up just as Gerard and Frank walked in. She watched him walk back to his guitar, thinking about what he had just said. 'We're going to go eat. Want to go?' Frank asked Michelle. 'Yeah,' she said getting up and grabbing her coat. Chapter 5 The conversation was a little dry during the meal at the small restaurant. There weren't many people there. In fact, they were the only one's there besides the employees. Gerard and Frank sat there silently picking on each other. Michelle sat a safe distance away and laughed. 'Bathroom,' Gerard said getting up and taking off. Frank watched him walk around the corner and shot his attention to Michelle. 'Watch that boy,' he said suddenly. She cocked her eyebrow at him. 'He's dangerous. Skitzo maniac. I'm telling you now,' he said raising his eyebrows. She scoffed at his words. 'What about you? Showing up at my house and acting foreign. How did you find out where I lived anyway?' She blurted out leaning in towards him. 'I asked Ray,' he said leaning towards her. She sat back, eyeing him. 'You're stalking me?' She asked narrowing her eyes. 'No, just watching. Making sure nothing happens,' he said taking a drink of his water. She frowned turning her attention to Gerard, who was walking towards the table. 'My turn,' Frank said getting up. Gerard sat down next to Michelle and smiled sweetly. She returned the favor. 'Did Frank say anything while I was in the restroom?' He asked looking behind him. 'He said you're nuts,' she laughed grabbing her drink. 'Don't listen to him. He's the one that showed up at your house for no reason, right?' He said smiling. 'Yep,' she answered taking a drink of her soda. 'Wanna chill with the guys tonight?' He asked her as the waitress brought the ticket. 'Sure,' she said leaning onto his arm. He hugged her close as Frank sat back down at the table. 'What are we going to do tonight?' Frank asked pulling out his wallet to pay the ticket. 'Chill at the house,' Gerard answered. 'Oh yeah? You're going to hang with us tonight?' He asked looking at Michelle. She smiled and nodded her head. They drove back to the house to find the rest of the guys watching a movie. Gerard and Michelle sat down with them while Frank went to grab some beers out of the fridge. Mikey and Ray already had the movies picked out for the whole night. 'Where's Bob?' Gerard asked Mikey. 'Girlfriend's,' he answered not taking his eyes away from the television. 'No Bob,' Gerard said snuggling closer to Michelle. Frank came into the room and handed them their beers, sitting down on the floor in front of Gerard's legs. About an hour passed and Frank took off to another part of the house. Gerard had to use the restroom, so he took off as well, saying he'd bring more beer back. Michelle, Mikey and Ray continued to watch the movie. Mostly in silence, except for the comical sounds Mikey would make to break the mood causing them to laugh. The movie ended, without Gerard or Frank ever coming back to the living room. 'What's taking them so long? I want my beer,' Ray said getting up. Mikey and Michelle sat there talking about the movie they just watched when Ray walked back in the living room with a confused look on his face. 'What is it?' Mikey asked leaning up. 'Did they say anything about going anywhere?' Ray asked shifting his gaze between Mikey and Michelle. They both shook their head. 'They're no where in the house,' Ray said shrugging his shoulders. 'Maybe they did a beer run and we didn't hear them,' Mikey suggested putting in another movie. 'True,' Ray said sitting back down. They watched another movie, patiently waiting on Frank and Gerard. The movie was almost completely over with still no sign of either of them. 'What the fuck?' Mikey said getting up and looking out the window. 'Frank's car is here,' he said closing the curtain. 'Well, shit. Want us to give you a ride home? We'll bitch them out for you when they appear,' Ray recommended smiling. 'Sure,' Michelle answered getting up and grabbing her bag. Mikey let Michelle ride up front to be a gentleman. When they reached the apartment, Mikey helped her out of the car and offered to walk her to her door, just to be safe, but she told him it would be alright. She got to her door, tried to unlock it but it was already unlocked. She frowned and pushed it open slowly. The apartment was a wreck. Chapter 6 'What the fuck?' She said looking around before she stepped in. She took five steps in and saw Frank tied up and gagged in the corner. She let out a small yell as Gerard came rushing out of the bathroom. 'Michelle!' He practically yelled running up to her. Frank let out a muffled yell. 'What the fuck is going on?!' She yelled at him backing up. 'He was here, wrecking your apartment! I had to tie him up so he would stop. He wouldn't stop!' Gerard said frantically. 'What? Why would he be trashing my apartment?' She asked confused. 'I told you he was crazy!' He yelled pointing to him. She looked at Frank and he had tears running down his face, shaking his head no. His nose was bleeding and he had cuts on his face. Gerard had a small gash on his forehead and the start of a black eye. She looked from Frank to Gerard, backing up. 'Michelle, you have to believe me! He's a lunatic,' he said grabbing her arm with force. 'Let go of me,' she said calmly. 'You have to believe me!' He said pulling her towards him as she tried to pull away. 'Let go of my arm,' she warned again. He let her go and ran his fingers through his hair. Frank sat in the corner sobbing and shaking his head, mumbling something, but Michelle couldn't understand because of the gag. 'How did you know he was here? You were supposed to be using the bathroom and getting the beer,' she asked looking around. 'I... I saw him... go out the back door. So... I... I followed him,' he answered with hesitation. She took his answer in with suspicion, but not showing it. She started to back up again, towards the open door. Gerard shot past her and slammed it. 'You believe me, don't you?' He asked leaning against the door. 'I... I really don't know what to believe. You two are fucked up. You're strange,' she said backing away from Gerard. 'You have to believe me!' He yelled grabbing her arm again, this time with more force. 'Let go!' She screamed yanking her arm, trying to get away. 'I'm not crazy!' He yelled grabbing her other arm and shaking her. She brought her knee right up into his groin, sending him falling to the floor. She backed up against the wall watching him ball up on the floor. Frank let out a cry, getting Michelle's attention. She looked at him, he was still crying and trying to get out of the bandaging. She went over to his and ripped off the tape. He let out a small cry from the pain. 'What happened?' She cried out. 'I saw him leave the house, so I followed him, thinking he was going for a beer run. But he came here. He had a key and came into your house. I stayed outside, watching his actions in the shadows on the wall through the window. I decided to come up here and see what he was doing and he went crazy on me. Started whooping my ass and yelling. He's nuts! I told you!' He cried out in panicked breaths. Michelle ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, running back to Frank and cutting the bandages off of his wrists and ankles. He stood up, making sure it was all off. Gerard got to his feet and yelled no. Michelle turned to look at him, pointing the knife at him. 'Fuck,' he said steadying himself on the couch. He looked at Frank who was standing behind Michelle. An evil grin spread across Frank's face as he slowly walked up to Michelle, running his hand down her arm and grabbing the knife out of her hand. She spun around catching the blow of the blade right in her side. 'No!' Gerard yelled out as she grabbed her side, seeing the blood on her hands and falling on the floor. 'Should have listened to him,' Frank smiled looking at the blood on the blade. 'Goddamnit!' Gerard yelled rushing to Michelle, but stopped at Frank's blade threatening to cut his throat. Chapter 7 Frank backed him up towards the kitchen as Michelle gripped her side, moaning from the pain. 'She fucked everything up, Gerard!' Frank yelled leading him back by the blade. 'What are you talking about? Fucked what up?' Gerard asked looking at Michelle over Frank's shoulder. 'I was in love with you! You knew that! Then she came along,' Frank cried waving the knife around. 'Frank, I had no idea,' Gerard said calmly holding his arms out as if it would stop the blade. 'I've tried to tell you over and over. You wouldn't listen, you never listened. I thought I had you, to where I could tell you, then you brought her to the house. I tried to scare her away, I tried. But scaring won't work, I have to get rid of her,' Frank said smiling backing Gerard all the way into the kitchen. Michelle looked as the front door opened slowly. Ray peeked his head in, looking around and spotted Michelle on the floor with her side and the carpet soaked in blood. He opened the door all the way, entering her apartment with her bag in his hand. She held out her hand for him to stop. He stopped and heard Gerard and Frank arguing in the next room. He set her bag down and crept to her. He moved her hand to see the wound in her side. 'Holy shit. Who did this?' He asked her trying to get her up. 'Frank,' she whimpered as he moved her. He quietly dragged her out onto the porch, waving Mikey to come get her. Mikey fell out of the car and bolted up the stairs to them. 'What the fuck?!?' He asked leaning down to Michelle. 'Frank's lost his fucking mind,' Ray said setting her down gently. 'He snapped,' Mikey said sighing and shaking his head. Ray went back in the apartment as Mikey helped Michelle down the stairs to the car, asking her questions about what happened. Ray snuck up to the door way to the kitchen. He could see Frank, but not Gerard. He walked into the door way and yelled hey. Frank swung around with the knife to go after who said it. Ray jumped back as the knife skimmed his shirt. Gerard grabbed a knife out of the knife holder and stuck Frank right in the lower back with it. 'Mother fuc... ' Frank mumbled dropping his knife and grabbing the cabinet to steady himself. Gerard let go of the knife and backed up against the wall, leaving it in Frank's back. Frank heaved and grunted, clawing the cabinet. 'Holy fuck,' Ray said walking backwards into the dining room. (A/N: I was listening to The Ghost of You and this chapter reflects it so well. *sniffs* The first part anyway. *smiles*) Chapter 8 Frank turned around slowly to look at Gerard. He turned completely around and fell to his knees. 'Gerard,' he voice cracked and tears fell from his eyes. 'I'm sorry,' Gerard cried shaking. Frank went down on his hands and knees hanging his head. Gerard leaned down to him, taking him in his arms. 'I love you,' Frank whispered as he laid his head on Gerard's shoulder. 'Oh my god, Frank, I'm so sorry,' Gerard cried, rubbing Frank's hair. Frank collapsed on Gerard, knocking him back. Ray was leaned down against the wall, crying. 'Ray! Get some help!' Gerard yelled out. Ray jumped up and ran out the door. 'It's going to be alright,' Gerard whispered still stroking Frank's hair. 'I love you,' Frank whispered again in a calm state. 'I love you too,' Gerard whispered back kissing his forehead. He felt Frank get heavier. 'Frank,' he said pausing. No answer. 'Frank?' He repeated shaking him a bit. Nothing. Gerard let out a sob shaking Frank. Frank didn't move. Didn't make a sound. Gerard sat there holding Frank and crying in a pool of blood. About 10 minutes later, cops and medics walked in, checking Frank before moving him. Gerard couldn't talk, couldn't move until one of the cops hoisted him up. He walked out of the apartment like a zombie, staring ahead of him, tears rolling down his face. He walked down the steps slowly, not looking up. He reached the bottom of the steps where Ray was standing. 'You okay?' Ray asked him rubbing his arm. 'I just murdered Frank. He's dead,' Gerard said continuing to stare at nothing. He walked to the middle of the sidewalk and stopped. He lifted his gaze to Michelle who was sitting on a stretcher, watching him with tears streaming down her face. Mikey stood beside her, talking to the medics working on her. He started walking over to them, slowly making his way. 'Hey,' Gerard said rubbing Michelle's arm. Her lip quivered and the tears flowed more. He started crying again. 'I'm sorry,' she let out. 'No, I am. I should have never brought you into all of this,' he said wiping his face. 'You couldn't have known,' she said grabbing his hand. He started crying harder, pulling her into a hug. The End
