I Can't Always Just Forget Her By Jordie Disclaimer: This is fictional. I can't be held completely responsible for the things I write when I'm high on caffeine... Unfortunately, I don't know or own MCR or Ev, but I do own myself and I guess my best friend too... Uh yeah, this story has a lot of our demented inside jokes in it... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "I can't believe this is actually happening! I must be dreaming! Oh my God... somebody pinch me please!" Jordan thought to herself as she pulled on a very full black and red skirt over her ripped jeans. "I wonder if this skirt is too poofy... " Not being able to decide for herself, she made her way over the numerous piles of clothes in the small room she was in and entered the room next door. "Amy?" she said as she poked her head in through the door. "Yeah. I'm in here." A voice from inside the room replied. "Can I get you opinion on something?" Jordan asked. "Of course. Show me." Amy answered, already knowing that Jordan was questioning her outfit. Jordan stepped the whole way into the room and pretended to model her outfit for Amy. Amy laughed as Jordan continued to pose and twirl. When she finally stopped laughing at Jordan's stupidity, Amy gave her opinion. "You look hot!" she said smiling. "You don't think my skirt's too poofy to wear over these jeans? You sure it's not too much?" Jordan questioned. "Me? Think something's too poofy? Right." Amy laughed. "It looks great. Honest. You look pretty damn hot!" "Thanks, Ames" Jordan replied. "I'll let you finish getting ready. I need to finish up too. Actually, I'd better check on Kels first. I gotta make sure that loser didn't get herself tangled up in the straightening iron cord." "True... it's hard to tell what situation that chick's got herself into right now" Amy agreed. "Alright then... I'll see ya in a little while." said Jordan as she walked out of the room. "Oh yeah, and I'm totally lovin' the outfit, Ames!" "Thanks!" she heard Amy yell as she continued down the narrow hall to the room her best friend Kelsey was getting ready in. Jordan knocked twice on the door and waited for an answer. "Yeah? Who is it?" she heard Kelsey say from inside the room. "It's me." She replied. "Can I come in?" "Of course." Kelsey said, recognizing Jordan's voice. Jordan opened the door and let herself in. "Just checking on ya to make sure you didn't get yourself into any kind of predicament." "Very funny." Kelsey said as she grabbed the light saber she had randomly sitting in the corner of her oddly clean room and pretended to beat Jordan with it. "Dude, Kels... I was gonna say you looked hot 'till you decided you were gonna beat me." Jordan joked. "You suck." Kelsey said. "Aww, you know you love me." Jordan smiled innocently. "Jordie quit screwing around. Go finish getting ready, you whore!" "Fine. Fine, I'm going." Jordan said as she left Kelsey's room and returned to her own. She looked at the clock hanging above her clothes-covered, twin-sized mattress which she had used as a bed for the past couple of nights. In her opinion, it was actually better than staying in a hotel room. It took her awhile to read the time since the clock wasn't digital. Her main problem was that she couldn't take her eyes off of the image on the clock. It was a very hot picture of her favorite band My Chemical Romance. She had gotten the clock on EBay for pretty cheap, and she was very proud of her find. 3:45. she couldn't believe that there was only less than two hours separating her and the MTV Video Music Awards. The VMAs! With her two best friends in the whole world. Two months ago, when Amy Lee had contacted Jordan and asked her to collaborate with her on writing a movie, Jordan thought that that was the best it could get. But now, after the release of her debut in a real feature film, and Amy inviting her to the VMAs, she could've easily convinced herself that she was dreaming. She and Kelsey had been extras in an independent film about one year ago. The movie made it to the Sundance Film Festival, and it had been greatly admired by the critics. Jordan just so happened to make a great impression on the producer of the film, and since she had told him about her love of acting, he had offered her a principal role in the big budget film he was working on next. Of course she had accepted the part without second thought. The movie had been a bigger success than she had even anticipated at first. Jordan's lifelong dream of being an actress had basically come true over night. To this day, she was still amazed by the fact that all of this was real. She remembered actually crying after Amy had contacted her about wanting to write with her. Amy had been so impressed with Jordan's acting ability and the things she had said in a couple interviews. Amy loved how Jordan was her own person. Jordan actually reminded Amy a lot of her own self. And the fact that Jordan had mentioned looking up to and being very inspired by Amy several times, also caught her attention. Jordan and Amy had become fast friends. They were really more like sisters. The amount of things they had in common and how alike they were in almost every way was almost scary. They had quickly become a nearly inseparable threesome when Jordan began insisting that her best friend Kelsey come along with them to the places they would hang out to write, or just to hang out in general. The girls were no strangers to the guys of Evanescence either. Will, Rocky, and Terry had quickly become quite comfortable with them. Jordan first realized how comfortable they were around her and Kelsey when Terry came out of the shower in nothing but a barely there towel (Which almost burned their eyes. Not because Terry wasn't an attractive guy... they just would have rather not have had to think of him that way.) And the time that Rocky sat on the couch next to Kelsey and farted. Of course he had acted like nothing had happened, even though Kelsey nearly choked from the stench. And then there was that one time when Will cried on Jordan's shoulder, literally, when he dropped his McDonald's hamburger in the toilet. She never did ask how that had happened. Honestly, she didn't want to know. The guys were like their brothers. Constantly playing pranks on them and whining because they would take way too much time in the bathroom whenever they visited the band. John had become more like a father figure to them. At least a very protective older brother. He always got defensive of them if any guy even tried to talk to them. Sometimes Jordan couldn't help but laugh, but she appreciated his intentions very much. John was such a sweetheart. Except for that one time when he forced her to walk away from that one really hot guy she met backstage at on of Ev's concerts... Oh well. It probably wouldn't have turned into anything anyways. But damn he had a fine ass. "Jordie, you in there?" she heard Amy ask from outside her room. "Yeah." She said breathlessly as she fought with her corset, trying to get it on her body correctly. Amy laughed, seeing her struggling with all the laces and hooks. "You need help?" she asked. "Nah. I think I got it." Jordan replied as she finally untangled all the laces in the back. "You're a strange little child." Amy said as she moved all the clothes piled on Jordan's mattress to find herself a spot to sit down. "Wow, Ames. I love the makeup. Beth is a freaking genius!" Jordan said as she stepped out of the bathroom, still trying to put in one of her black dangly earrings. "Sweetheart, Beth would so do your makeup if you would just ask her." Amy said. "Yeah, I know, but I feel bad asking her for some reason." replied Jordan. "Ugh, come here!" Amy said as she grabbed Jordan by the arm and drug her out of her room and down the hall to find Beth. "Hey, Bee, would you mind doing Jordie's makeup? She won't ask for some reason." "But of course! I've been wanting to experiment with her makeup anyways." Beth answered happily. Beth took Jordan into the bathroom of the room Amy's things were in and had her sit on the same stool she used when she did Amy's makeup. "You want anything in particular?" Beth asked. "Or can I just experiment?" "Just work your magic, Bee. I trust you." About 20 minutes later, Beth had Jordan looking like a rock princess. She had used black eyeliner and a pinkish-red eye shadow. It looked amazing. "Wow." Jordan said as she admired Beth's work in the bathroom mirror. "You're a freaking genius!" "You'd better get going. You wouldn't wanna be late on your big night." Beth said. "Come on, now. Give me a hug and go find Ames and the rest of the posse." Jordan hugged her and kissed her on the cheek goodbye and went to find everyone else. "Come on, Kels! I gotta piss!" Jordan heard Will scream from all the way down the hall. She assumed Kelsey was hogging the bathroom again. That loser. "I'm sure there's a nice bush outside just waiting to be pissed on if you wanna go pop a squat!" Jordan joked as she passed the pee-dancing Will. "Very fucking funny." Will replied. "You're a fucking comedian." Jordan turned around and curtsied for him and then continued on into her own room. Finally, at about 5 o'clock, they were all ready. This time, they were sort of forced into riding in a limousine. The guys were all over it when it pulled up, but Jordan, Amy, and Kelsey thought it was kind of tacky. They piled in anyways and were on their way. Jordan gave Kelsey a look and Kelsey could read her mind. She knew exactly what Jordan was thinking. They had been informed several weeks prior to the actual event about the guest list. Well at least part of it. And lucky for them, the certain part of it that they were shown just happened to include five very special guys. To Jordan and Kelsey, they meant the world. And tonight, they were finally going to have the chance to meet them for real. At least, if things went their way. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There were so many people. So many flashing lights and so many cameras. They hadn't even pulled up to the red carpet entrance all the way, and already there were so many people! "Oh my God." Jordan said nervously under her breath. This was the first huge event she'd ever been to and it was already so much more than she had ever even imagined. She even felt Kelsey's nervousness radiating from her. Amy gave them both a reassuring look as the limo door was opened by the driver. They made all the guys get out first, even there really wasn't much "making" involved. The guys ate it up. They loved this stuff. Jordan was surprised Will wasn't posing for all the cameras. Usually, he was such a camera whore. The air around her became thick and silent as she slowly stuck her right black converse shoe out of the limo. She felt it hit the ground, and she knew that the rest of her body would follow, but she wasn't exactly sure how. It must've been completely on auto-pilot at that moment, because Jordan was completely confused as to how she had managed to get herself out of the limo and onto the red carpet that seemed as if it stretched out for miles. She wasn't exactly sure why she had become so nervous all of a sudden, but she could feel her stomach churning more and more with every flash that went off. At least she wouldn't completely be the center of attention here though. It was after all, the Video Music Awards. And Amy would be the one getting attacked the most, so at least she could sort of hide behind her if it was necessary. "Breathe." She told herself. "Just breathe." She looked over at Kelsey, who was surprisingly eating it up along with the guys. Weird. Kelsey was usually the shy one. But not tonight, oh no. Kelsey was posing in between Rocky and Will for pictures. John was hovering like a hawk in the background, as usual. Jordan stayed with Amy as she led the whole posse on their way down the red carpet to the real entrance. Amy was a pro. If she was even nervous at all, she sure didn't show it. She was so natural and friendly whenever someone would randomly come up to her with a microphone and a video camera and start asking her questions. Eventually, Jordan got the feeling back in her body and was beginning to loosen up. "Amy Lee! Amy Lee!" some random guy screamed as he came running over to Amy with his little sidekick that was equipped with a video camera. "Hello." She said sweetly as they approached and quickly set up their equipment. "Do you mind doing a quick interview?" the man with the microphone asked. As if she had much choice now. They already had her cornered. "Of course not." She said. The man asked her several questions. Nothing new. Jordan was becoming bored with hearing the same questions, and she wasn't even the one forced to answer them over and over. She could tell Amy wasn't exactly pleased with it, but she answered them as she always did. All smiles and honestly. Jordan wondered how many times a person could be expected to answer the same questions. "What's the song about? Why'd you do your video this way? What is your band all about? Ok thanks." That's pretty much how every interview went. Occasionally, you'd come across some really awesome people that actually cared about what you were all about and actually asked original questions, but for the most part it was all the same kind of thing. Out of the corner of her eye, Jordan noticed a woman and a man coming in her direction. At first though, she didn't think they actually wanted to talk to her. "Excuse me?" the man said. "Do you mind if we interview you briefly?" "Oh shit." Jordan thought to herself. "Of course." she answered politely. The lady held out her arm and said "Nice to meet you, Jordan." "Oh shit! They actually know who I am!" Jordan screamed on the inside. Another man came not far behind them and turned on his bulky black video camera. The first man stepped beside Jordan and held his microphone so that it would pick up both of their voices. "Who are you rooting for tonight?" was the first question he asked. She was beginning to feel more comfortable now. This was a question she could actually answer easily. It wasn't about herself, so she didn't have to really think out her answer that carefully. "Well... " she began confidently. "My lovely Ames over there... " she said, pointing to Amy, who was still stuck in the interview with the two crazed men. "Definitely Evanescence. I think they're music is amazing and they definitely have something to say, which I think they're doing a great job of. They're just amazing. Oh and my all time favorite band, don't tell Amy... " she laughed. Amy already knew, so it wasn't really a big deal or anything. "My Chemical Romance. Their music just gets to me like no other music ever has. I get a feeling whenever I listen to their music which is like nothing I've ever felt before in my life. I mean, ugh, I can't even explain it. I think they're absolutely amazing, and they deserve to win every freaking award possible tonight! Plus, I'm in love with that sexy beast Gerard Way!" she giggled. As the man and the woman that were interviewing her were finishing up, she felt Kelsey nudge at her with her elbow. At first she was thinking "What the fuck?" But she soon realized what Kelsey was trying to get her to notice. "Oh fucking shit!" Jordan thought as she felt her stomach drop into what felt like the never ending depths of a black hole. Right behind where she was being interviewed stood Gerard and Mikey Way, with the rest of the My Chemical Romance guys right behind them. They couldn't have been any more than two feet away... which means they must've heard everything she said. She saw a slight smirk on Gerard's face which confirmed her fears. He had heard her confess her little schoolgirl crush on him. She quickly turned away as she felt her face turn about five different shades of red. Kelsey linked her arm through Jordan's and they went up to Amy, leaving the Ev boys and the MCR boys behind. Luckily, Amy's interview was over, and she was just sort of standing there, posing for some pictures. "Amy" Jordan whispered to her. "I just made a complete ass of myself. Can we please hurry up and get inside? Now!" Noticing that Jordan was almost in tears, Amy nodded towards the guys, which meant they could stay out there as long as they wanted, but she had to go take care of some business. When you're around the same people all the time, you get to where a simple facial expression speaks for itself. Jordan saw John nod back as she, Kelsey, and Amy headed quickly towards the entrance of the venue. Amy had to brush off a couple of interviewers that approached her, but most of them didn't bug her about it because they noticed the upset look on Jordan's face. Somehow, they finally managed to get past all the flashing cameras and all the other people and celebrities on the red carpet. Once they finally got inside, Amy searched around for a bathroom, since that was about the most privacy they were going to be able to get at the moment. Finally, they found one, and all three girls went inside. Jordan had tried to hold back her tears, but she was completely unable to hold them back now, and they came flooding out. Amy held both of her fingers under Jordan's eyes as she cried so that she wouldn't mess up her makeup as much, because she knew Jordan would be extremely upset if she did. Kelsey still held onto her arm as she cried in that completely understanding best friend kind of way. That alone, helped Jordan regain control of herself. Once she finally stopped crying, Amy asked "So what happened, sweetheart?" Amy touched up Jordan's makeup and wiped off the bit that had smeared under her eyes. "I was doing this interview, and the guy asked me who I was rooting for tonight. So of course I said you guys, and then I got to talking about My Chemical Romance, and of course, I couldn't keep myself from mentioning my love for Gerard. And I just had to use the words 'sexy beast.' Which I guess might not have been such a big deal if he wasn't standing two fucking feet behind me!" "It's ok." Kelsey said. "I mean, it's not like you talked bad about them or anything." "I know, but now Gee's gonna think I only like him because I think he's hot. Which is exactly the opposite of what I want him to know. Damnit! I'm such a dumbass." Jordan said. "Let's just go find our seats and sit down." "Are you sure you're ready to go in there?" Amy asked protectively. She was upset that Jordan was so upset. "Yeah, I'm sure." Jordan replied. She put a smile on her face and the three girls headed out of the bathroom and into the huge venue. A man in a red velvet jacket escorted them to their seats. They were actually better than Jordan had expected. I mean, none of them were exactly the most popular ones here tonight. They weren't rap stars, so Jordan was surprised they even wanted them there. But Amy was presenting tonight, so I guess they sort of had to be. To both Jordan and Kelsey's surprise, Amy was presenting fairly early in the show, so she had to leave them right before the show started. And for some reason, Will, John, and Rocky, had gotten seated at the complete opposite end of the row from them, which Jordan thought was crap. She and Kelsey were stuck sitting by a bunch of people they didn't recognize. She took them to be big time music video producers or something, from the way they were dressed. They were dressed more formally than anyone there, except for the ushers. Jordan was becoming bored very quickly waiting for things to begin, so she leaned forward in her seat and got John's attention since he was the closest one to them. "Me and Kels are gonna go walk around a little bit and get some water, ok?" John gave her a suspicious look, and she could tell he'd really rather they stay there, but seeing the sort of pleading look on Jordan's face, he agreed. Plus, it's not like he could really do anything about it. Jordan had her mind set that she was going to leave anyways, but it just made things much easier since John agreed. Jordan stood up and motioned for Kelsey to come with her, which Kelsey was more than willing to do. She didn't do too well with sitting still for any period of time. They walked down what seemed like two hundred stairs before they reached the ground level and then they made their way out of the seating area. There really wasn't that much exciting stuff outside of the seating and stage area where most of the people were. There were plenty of people walking around outside of that too though. When they had first come in, there was hardly anyone in there. But now, there were so many crowds of people scrambling around that Jordan and Kelsey had a hard time seeing where they were going. A group of several tall men which Jordan took to be a rock band, even though she didn't recognize them, came at her like a pack of hungry wolves. They were obviously in a hurry, and she was obviously not a concern of theirs, because if she hadn't of dashed to the side as quick as she did, she would've been road kill. She had run pretty far off to the side to avoid them, and she was trying to make her way back to the other side to where she and Kelsey were walking at first, but there were so many people! She felt like Frogger trying to cross the road with all the cars speeding by. She had to move at just the right moments, or she was history. When she finally got back to where she had started, Kelsey was nowhere to be found. Most of the people were heading towards the entrances of the seating area, and there were large packs of them congregated at every visible entrance. Jordan found it extremely weird that in only a few minutes, the area went from people walking all around her, dashing back and forth trying to get to wherever they were going, to hardly anyone walking around. Now everyone was just standing, waiting to be let in. Jordan assumed the show was about to start. "Kelsey!" Jordan yelled for her. "Where the fuck are you?" "Great. Just great." she thought. "I've successfully lost her." Jordan decided to keep walking, in the off chance that she might find her friend. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Where the hell am I?" Kelsey thought to herself as she wandered around trying to find Jordan. "More importantly, where the hell is she?" Kelsey stared down at the ground as she wandered off in a random direction past all the crowds of people standing near the entrances to be seated. The ground she walked on was slippery, as if it had just been recently mopped. She felt its slipperiness beneath the soles of the two different colored converses she was wearing. After she had been walking for several minutes, she lifted her head and examined her surroundings. She didn't recognize anything around her. Several yards off in the distance, she noticed several plain, unmarked doors. Kelsey became curious, so she lowered her head to the ground and began walking towards them. They must've been farther off than she had first thought, because she felt like she had been walking in the same direction for nearly five minutes. It could've easily been her imagination though. She had always been one to exaggerate. She began to get frustrated as she felt her skirt riding up in a weird way. It was black with bits of pink and purple here and there. The bottom of it was uneven, like a fairy-type cut, and some places were much shorter than others. She was paranoid, and was worried that it was riding up too far on her ass. She became even more distracted from her surroundings while she was messing with it, trying to fix her skirt and get it situated on her body just right. She had almost positioned it just as she wanted, when all of the sudden she felt something collide into the entire front half of her body. She looked up and found herself flat on her ass on the wet ground. She touched her index and middle finger to her to her lips and noticed that they were bleeding. About a foot in front of her, a young man with dirty blonde hair was fumbling around for something. As Kelsey began to lift herself off the ground, she felt something snap underneath her left hand. She turned her head to look. What she lifted up was a piece of thick black plastic. She noticed a damaged silver hinge at one end of it. She searched around the area she had landed in and discovered the other piece of the object. Suddenly, she realized what she was holding in her hands. Glasses. Well, broken glasses. "This must be what he's looking for." She thought. Kelsey crawled over to the young man who was still fumbling around aimlessly. "Excuse me." She said. The young man nearly came out of his skin when he heard her voice. He paused for a moment, although he continued surveying the ground and said, "I'm so sorry. I just have this bad habit of looking down when I walk." "Me too." she laughed. "Um, I found these." She continued, showing him the broken glasses. "I uh, think I might've, um... broken them." She admitted. "Eh, don't worry about it." He replied. "I'm just glad that you found them. I'm blind as a bat without them." Kelsey smiled and studied his face. She noticed blood dripping from his nose, and his lip was bleeding too. She stared at him for a few moments longer. "Holy moaning Gerard... " she said under her breath, finally realizing who was right in front of her. "You alright?" he asked. "Yeah... " she answered, still staring at him. "Here's, uh your, um glasses." She said as she handed the two separate pieces to him. As he took them from her, he said, "You're bleeding. We should probably go get you taken care of." "Nah. It's just a little blood. Besides, you're busted up worse than me." He reached his hand up to his nose and wiped off some of the blood dripping from it. He pulled his hand away and examined it and then proceeded to wipe it onto his tight fitting jeans. "I'm pretty sure there's like a first-aid kit or somethin' back there." Remembering again who she was talking to, she said, "Oh, I'm Kelsey." She hoped that he would respond with the name she was longing to hear. "That's a cool name. I'm Mikey." Kelsey squeaked. Her cheeks turned pink. "Sorry." She apologized. "I didn't mean to freak out." Mikey just laughed. A big smile spread across his baby face, and it took everything Kelsey had in her to keep herself from losing it. Mikey motioned for her to follow him. They walked side by side towards the doors she was originally walking towards. This time, the walk didn't seem so bad to Kelsey. When they reached the several unmarked doors, Kelsey wondered if they really supposed to be back there. Mikey stopped, as if he had to try to remember which one exactly he wanted to go into. "I think the rest of the guys are in this one." He said, pointing to the farthest door. Not that it was exactly far, but it wasn't exactly the most convenient one. They soon reached it, and Mikey opened the door. Being the lovely gentleman that he was, he it open for Kelsey. "Mikester!" a voice from inside yelled. "You got the burritos?!" "Uh, no actually." Mikey said. "Looks like you got a girl instead!" another voice joked. "First of all, who is she? And second, why are you both bleeding?" asked the first voice. Kelsey felt a little embarrassed, but Mikey gave her a reassuring look, so she immediately felt better. "This is Kelsey." Mikey started. Three guys, including the two that had spoken before, came over to them. Kelsey immediately recognized them as Frankie, Ray, and Bob from My Chemical Romance. She screamed on the inside. "Hmmm... I wonder where Gerard is." She thought. "I sort of, uh, ran into her." Mikey continued. "You weren't looking up when you were walking, were you, Michael?" Bob teased. "Damnit! Don't call me Michael!" Mikey pretended to punch Bob, but he was captured in a headlock by him instead. Kelsey couldn't help but laugh. Ray began to giggle, which made her laugh even more. "Next time I send you out to get burritos, you had better come back with some fucking burritos!" Frankie playfully yelled at him. "Come on, Frankie! Seriously, where was I really supposed to find your damn microwave burritos anyways? I don't even think there's a Taco Bell near here, much less a fucking gas station!" Ray and Kelsey were still giggling almost uncontrollably. "Hey." Mikey said as Bob released him from the headlock. "Where the hell is Gerard?" "I have no idea." Ray said as he was regaining his composure. "We haven't seen him in awhile." Frankie added. "But I still want some fucking burritos!" "What the hell is it with you and those damn burritos?" Bob asked. "Have you ever had a microwave burrito?" Frankie asked him. Bob just stared blankly at him. Frankie continued, "They're the fucking best!" "Then go get yourself some damn burritos." Mikey said. "Fine. I will." Frank said as he walked towards the door. "Do you guys want any?" he asked. Bob and Ray shook their heads. "Do you want one?" he asked Kelsey. "No, I'm fine." She replied. "Screw you guys then. More for me." Frankie smiled as he walked out the door. Kelsey noticed that they weren't the only ones in the room. There were several other scruffy looking guys hanging out in different corners of the same room they were in. And she could've sworn that she recognized one of them to be Matthew Bellamy from Muse. Not that she cared all too much at the moment, since she was three fucking inches away from Mikey Way. "Shit." Said Mikey, remembering Kelsey. "Where's the first-aid kit in here?" "Uh, I think there's one in the bathroom." Ray said, motioning to the back of the room. "Alright. Come here, Kels." Mikey said to her. "Oh my God!" Kelsey thought to herself. "He just called me Kels!" Mikey searched the interior of the tiny bathroom as Kelsey stood in the doorway. "Ah, here it is." He said, reaching on top of the medicine cabinet. He set the white plastic box in front of him on the tiny counter and lifted the top off of it. He sorted through a few things on top and set them aside. Mikey picked up a small antibacterial cleansing cloth and unfolded it. "Come here." He said to Kelsey. She obeyed and stood right in front of him. Mikey carefully lifted the cloth to Kelsey's mouth. As gently as he knew how, he touched the cloth to her bottom lip and cleaned off as much blood as he could without hurting her. It did sting her lip a little, but she pretended not to notice. "That's about the best I can do" he said as if he were displeased with himself. "I'm fine, really." Kelsey assured him. "Thank you." Mikey smiled. He tore off the unused half of the cleansing cloth and tossed the dirty half into the little red trash can beneath the counter. He touched the clean cloth to his nose. As he was wiping off his own nearly dried blood, Kelsey said, "Stop. Let me do it for you." He stopped and she took the cloth from him. She stood up tall on her tiptoes and gently wiped off the blood that ran down the majority of the bottom half of his face. As she worked, Mikey stared down into her eyes. Kelsey felt him playing with her curly brown hair. She smiled at the mere thought of Mikey touching her. She couldn't believe that she was actually wiping blood from his adorable little face. Mikey grasped her wrist and removed her hand from his face. Giving her no time to ask questions, he pulled her up against his body, closed his eyes and kissed her lips. Kelsey was stunned. She felt the warmth of his breath on her face, but it didn't seem real. She could see it. She could hear it. And she could feel it, but somehow, it all felt like a dream. Mikey pulled away, keeping his eyes shut, and slowly opened them to see her pretty face. Kelsey stood there motionless with her mouth hanging open. She noticed Mikey blush and start to breathe awkwardly. "I'm so sorry, baby doll." He wheezed. I don't know what I was thinking. Mikey searched all the pockets in his jeans until he found his inhaler. He held it to his mouth and inhaled it twice. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Fuck, Kels. Where the hell are you?" Jordan said, still walking around aimlessly trying to find her. "Oh shit." she said as she finally just sat down on the floor against the wall. She felt a little weird just sitting there randomly on the floor, but since there really weren't too many people around, she didn't really care. As she sat down, she noticed that the floor was wet, and if she had known before she began to sit down, she probably wouldn't have. But it was too late now, she was already completely sitting down, and her ass was pretty much soaking wet. She assumed the floor had just been mopped, and the water had decided to pool up in the crease where the wall met the floor, which was exactly where her ass was. She pulled her knees up to her chest and laid her head in her arms, resting them on her knees. She just needed to take a break. She knew that everything would be fine, but right now she was just a bit overwhelmed. Jordan sighed, and lifted her head. When she looked up, she couldn't believe her eyes. She just stared at the figure standing in front of her. "It can't be" she thought. "Can it?" The figure had dark, shaggy hair. His eyes were a mysterious green color. He strongly resembled-"No" she thought. "I'm fucking hallucinating." "Are you ok?" the figure asked her, noticing the confused and almost shocked look on her face. Finally gathering somewhat composure, Jordan found a breath to speak "Yeah. I'm sorry... I must've come off as a freaking psycho earlier or something." She felt her face turning red. She heard herself let out a completely unintended girly giggle. The figure laughed too. He knew that she knew who he was, but he liked how she didn't attack him like a bunch of little kids trying to catch a goat in the mud at the rodeo, as most girls did. Thinking of this, he cracked a smile. Jordan nearly melted when she saw his smile, but tried to remain calm. A huge smile spread across her face as she began to giggle like a little girl again. He liked her laugh. Hell, he liked her. To him, she was different. There was something very different about her. Even though she had said he was hot earlier, he had a feeling that wasn't all that she was about. He sensed something else from her that gave him an amazing feeling that he had never felt before. He smiled again and kneeled down to her level, holding his hand out to her. "I'm Gerard" he said. Again she giggled. "I know-I mean, I'm Jordan" she replied, grasping his hand. When she felt the warmth of his hand touch hers, her heart nearly stopped. "I must be dreaming" she thought to herself. As if reading her mind, Gerard said "Calm down, princess. I'm nothing special." Jordan felt her mouth drop open. "Did he just say he was nothing special?!" she screamed in her mind. "And did he just fucking call me princess?! Oh my God, I'm gonna pass out!" Still noticing the sort of shock on her face, Gerard smiled at her. "Come here" he said, helping her to her feet and then pulling her into a tight hug. His grip around her waist was firm, yet gentle at the same time. Without thinking, Jordan wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him even closer to her. Slowly, she rested her head on his shoulder. She had just met him, but somehow she felt like she'd known him all her life. She could feel his breath streaming down her neck. She could feel his heart beating in her ear, and she felt her own heart racing. In his arms, she felt safe. Gerard closed his eyes and held her close, feeling the same sort of protection as she did. It seemed like a lifetime had passed when Jordan finally felt Gerard's grip around her loosen. He stepped back, releasing her, which she was quite disappointed about. He studied her face for a moment. She could just feel him reading her like an open book. She knew that he could tell she was embarrassed and nervous and... He took a piece of crumpled up paper out of his back pocket and scribbled something on it with a chewed up pen that he had pulled out along with it. He capped the pen, put it back in his pocket, and gave her the piece of paper, which he had crumpled back up. "I'd better go check up on my band." He said, sounding almost disappointed. "And I guess we'd better get in our seats sometime tonight." He smiled and he brought her hand up to his, placing a sweet kiss on it before he gave it back to her. He said nothing more, and turned away and walked off in the opposite direction of where her seat was. She stood there almost in shock for a moment. Then she remembered the crumpled piece of paper he had given her. She quickly unfolded it and read what he had written: She felt the muscles in her cheeks form a smile. She couldn't help but smile at that. Here she thought he'd think she was a total loser for just thinking he was some hot piece of ass in a rock band, and that he would see her as a potential restraining order, but no. No... he actually wanted to see her again. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jordan somehow managed to find her way back to her own seat in that big ass place. Amy still wasn't there, so she assumed she still hadn't presented yet. John and the boys were so caught up in the action on the stage, that they didn't even notice how long she had been gone or that she had even come back yet. She really wasn't even sure herself exactly how long she had been gone. "Thanks a whole fucking lot, guys." She thought to herself. "Good thing there weren't any crazy killers or rapists out there." She giggled a little out loud, and John must have heard her, because he looked over at her just then. "Where's Kelsey?" he mouthed. "Bathroom." She lied. Jordan felt bad for giving up her search for Kelsey, but she had gotten so sidetracked and had wondered how she was even going to find her anyways. She had planned to have Amy help her when she returned. "Please welcome Breaking Benjamin's Ben Burnley, and Evanescence's Amy Lee!" a very loud voice announced to the whole audience. There she was! Jordan was so excited that Amy was presenting with Ben. She had only casually met him once, but she and Kelsey had been big fans of Breaking Benjamin for quite a while now. Now she felt really bad for not finding Kels. Amy began, "We're here to present the award for best rock video by a breakout artist!" "Oh my God, no way. A rock category?" Jordan said sarcastically in her mind. "And the winner is... me and my band! That's right, bitches! Breaking Benjamin owns!" Ben teased. "Come on now, Benny boy. We all know my band can kick your band's ass any day!" she laughed. "But since neither of us is nominated in this category, I think we best get to the real nominees." Amy continued. "And the nominees are... " Ben said in a totally fake "serious" voice. Amy read off several band names... none of them Jordan was all too interested in. She felt herself becoming bored with this already until she heard Amy's voice say "and... My Chemical Romance for the Ghost of You." Jordan nearly jumped out of her seat. That was her favorite band, her favorite song, and her favorite video of all time! She didn't even know they were nominated. "How the fuck did I not know they were nominated?" she said out loud, not caring at the moment who heard. She was literally on the edge of her seat as Ben was opening the envelope. He seemed to be having trouble with it, and with every second that passed by, she felt her heart racing faster and faster. He finally managed to get the envelope open with Amy's help. "And the winner is... " he said, teasing the audience. Amy cut in quickly. "My Chemical Romance for the Ghost of You!" She must have known that Jordan was dying in her seat, and she just had to save her before she hyperventilated... or worse. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!" Jordan literally jumped to her feet and screamed. "Yes!" she began clapping wildly as she saw the band take the stage, led by Gerard of course. But she did notice something. Mikey and Frankie weren't there. "Hmm." She wondered why they weren't there. "I hope they're ok." She thought. As Gerard accepted the award from Amy, he began giving his speech, to which Jordan gave her undivided attention to. He seemed to have only talked for less than a minute before Ray took over the microphone. Bob just kind of stood back and rocked back and forth on his feet. They got off the stage about as quickly as they had come on. Jordan was very disappointed when she couldn't see Gerard anymore, but she took out the note he had given to her and read it over and over again until Amy finally got back to her seat. Amy was laughing at Jordan still perched on the edge of her seat. Amy could easily tell her excitement, but she also noticed that Jordan looked guilty. Not like she had done anything wrong, but Amy could tell she was keeping something from her. "What are you not telling me?" Amy asked immediately. Jordan was surprised she hadn't mentioned how MCR had just won. She was also confused at what Amy was trying to pull out of her. "Oh no." she thought. "The note? Did Amy see me reading it?" "What do you mean, Ames?" Jordan replied, trying to play innocent. "Oh come on. What were you reading? You know I can tell when you're hiding something from me." Amy said with a smug look on her face. "Damnit. She did see it." Jordan silently realized. "Come on now, J. Show me." Amy insisted. Jordan couldn't define her feelings about showing Amy the note that Gerard had given her. In one way, she felt embarrassed about it, but at the same time, she excited to tell Amy the good news. Jordan hesitantly pulled the note from underneath her ass, where she had quickly stashed it when she saw Amy coming. Instead of reading it aloud, she handed it to her. Amy unfolded it and read it. Jordan tried to read the look on her face, but was unsuccessful. This was one of the very few times when she had no idea what the hell Amy was thinking. For a moment, Amy just stared at her sort of smiling. Jordan was freaking out, wondering what was going through Amy's head and what she was gonna say about the note. Finally Amy spoke, "Go get 'em, tiger!" Jordan was relieved. She had feared that Amy would have tried to talk her out of meeting up with Gerard "for her own safety." They both laughed, and Amy was happy to see that Jordan's night had seemed to have turned around completely. All of a sudden, Amy's facial expression changed. "Where's Kelsey?" she asked, sounding a bit worried. "Oh shit. Uh, well... I'm not exactly sure." Jordan replied honestly. "We went to walk around a little bit, and we got separated somehow. There were just so many people." "And I'm assuming you ran into Gerard while looking for her?" Amy asked as if she already knew the whole story. "Shit. Well, we'd better go look for her before John finds out." Amy and Jordan both giggled at that. They could just imagine John having a hissy fit if he found out that Jordan had lost Kelsey. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Mikey, it's ok. Really. Don't worry about it. I- I... actually enjoyed that." Kelsey said trying to calm Mikey down. His breathing patterns were way off and she could tell that he was really freaking out. "I'm so sorry." He kept saying over and over again. "I don't know what I was thinking. I... " Kelsey was tired of hearing him apologize. She cut him off mid-sentence by grabbing him by the head and pulling him close to her. She just lost herself in the moment. Kelsey kissed him right smack on the lips, and Mikey kissed her back. Her back was to the mirror, and without thinking, Mikey lifted her entire body, setting her down on the small black counter top. He leaned in closer to her and began to kiss her more intensely. He really liked her. He wasn't even really sure what made him so attracted to her. He thought it must've been the way that they shared the habit of looking down while walking, and even the way she had broken his glasses turned him on. Even the way she had offered to clean his own nasty blood off of his face for him... that had done it. That alone proved how much she cared for him. He wondered how she could care about him so much... they had just met. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jordan sat in her chair restlessly. Her legs were bouncing up and down from the uncontrollable anxiety built up within her. She couldn't wait for this fucking show to end. To her, every second longer this show lasted, meant more time between her and Gerard. She was actually still trying to take in everything that had happened so far that night. Amy had agreed to let her go with Gerard after the show was over. She assumed all he'd want to do would be go to an after party with Jordan anyways. She made Jordan promise to keep her cell phone on though, just in case. Amy also said that she'd worry about finding Kelsey, and she promised to keep it a secret from the guys that she had gotten lost in the first place. Finally, after what seemed like three years to Jordan, the stupid awards show had ended. Amy noticed the huge smile on her face as all the people began to leave their seats and clear the inside of the venue. They would all be heading off to after parties to celebrate winning and congratulate each other on being rich and famous. Jordan looked all around the area she was in, but from where she was sitting, well standing now, she couldn't see Gerard or any of the MCR boys. She began to get impatient, even though there were still many crowds of people all scattered around the area. She began wondering if Gerard had really been serious about wanting to meet her again. "Maybe he's just messing with me since he knows I think he's hot." She thought to herself. "No. He wouldn't do that. He'll come." Amy hugged Jordan and left with the guys to go find Kelsey. As they walked away, Jordan heard Amy trying to convince the guys to look around and take a self-tour of the whole venue with her. Jordan recognized this as Amy's code talk for "Oh shit you guys, Kelsey's lost and we have to find her before we leave." The guys reluctantly agreed. They all really wanted to go home, but everyone knew that they were all really Amy's bitches anyways, so they really didn't have much of a choice. Luckily, they all believed Amy's story of Jordan and Kelsey being invited to some random after party. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jordan stared happily at the figure that was approaching her. He smiled too as he saw her face light up. "Hello again." She said. "Told ya I'd find you." He replied, seeming quite happy with himself. "You ready to go?" "Go where?" she asked. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." He said. Jordan could tell he was definitely keeping something from her. She could see it in his eyes. "Follow me." Said Gerard, beginning to move towards the end of the row of seats and towards the massive amount of stairs that led to the exit. She followed willingly. He led her to an isolated back parking garage thingy that she didn't even know existed. They walked only a short distance to a black SUV looking thingy. She felt a little weird just going out to his car with him, but somehow she felt a great sense of safety, even though in most cases this situation would seem very questionable. Gerard walked around to the passenger's side of the vehicle and opened the door for her. She curtseyed for him before she climbed in. She made him laugh, which made him like her even more. He entered from the driver's side and put the key in the ignition. He started the car and began to back it out of its parking space. "Did you not come in a limo or something?" Jordan asked him confused. "Nah. I'm... we're not really into that sort of thing. We all piled in this big ass thing and came. Let me just say that I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they actually had a parking garage." He giggled which turned her to goo. His laugh was her weakness already. "How are the rest of the guys gonna get home?" Jordan asked. "Good question." He laughed again. "They'll figure it out." They drove on for about 10 minutes longer, almost completely in silence. But it wasn't an awkward kind of silence. It was more of an unspoken conversation. It was like there wasn't even a need for words. Gerard pulled the car off onto a small dirt-like road. All she noticed was trees surrounding them, but she thought she saw the outline of a gate or something ahead of them. He shut off the car and looked into her eyes. "Let's go." He said smiling. Jordan obeyed and got out of the car and walked with him. She felt her head automatically lean into him as they began walking right next to each other. She felt Gerard's arm find its way up around her shoulders. Her mind was running in circles. "No way can this be real... I must be dreaming" she thought. "Am I really this close to Gerard? The Gerard? Does Gerard fucking Way seriously have his arm around me?! And did he just ask me to come with him?" She really wanted all of these thoughts to go away. Dream or no dream, this was amazing. She felt Gerard's movement come to a halt. She turned to face him, wondering why they had stopped. "Jordan" he whispered. "Close your eyes." She glanced into Gerard's eyes, trying to read him. He looked at her reassuringly. "Do you trust me?" She thought it was a little weird for him to ask her if she trusted him since they had just met. She wondered why he took such an interest in her. Did he do this with all the girls he met? Pushing all these thoughts aside, she smiled and said "Yes." Another beautiful smile spread across Gerard's face. She could tell that he was sincerely happy she had said she trusted him. "Close your eyes" he whispered again. "Take my hand. I'll lead you." She closed her eyes and felt Gerard take hold of her hand. He led her slowly and carefully. She could feel the softness of the earth beneath the soles of her hot pink converse and she felt some of its wetness seeping in through the canvas part of her shoes. Suddenly, her body flung forward, and before she even opened her eyes, she realized that she had somehow landed flat on her ass on the ground. The ground was wet, and it made her body cold. Gerard had tried to keep her from falling, but she gone to quickly out of his reach. Jordan felt a flush of embarrassment come over her. She wasn't ever very graceful, but why now? Why now had her clumsiness showed itself? Gerard quickly helped her to her feet. Noticing her shivers, he took off his black leather jacket and draped it over her shoulders. "Are you alright?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm fine" she replied in complete humiliation. Gerard motioned for her to follow him and said "Try not to trip over anymore rocks, sweetheart." Jordan could tell that he was trying not to laugh when he said that. "Very funny" she mumbled as she kept close behind him. "Where are we going?" she wondered as she walked in silence behind him. Deciding not to ask questions just yet, she snuggled deeper into his jacket. Its interior was soft and it smelled like him. It smelled slightly of cigarettes and cologne. He seemed so protective of her, and he barely even knew her name. "Where are we going?" she finally asked. "It's a surprise... you'll see" Gerard replied. He continued to lead her on through an old Gothic cemetery gate. Its hinges moaned as Gerard pushed them open. Jordan felt a chill run down her spine. "Scared yet?" Gerard asked with a grin. "No" Jordan lied. Gerard glanced at her. "Ok, maybe I am a little" she admitted. Gerard smiled and took her hand in his own. "Still scared?" he asked. "Not at all" Jordan replied. She wasn't lying this time, and Gerard knew that. He made her feel safe... as safe as he felt with her. They continued along a thin path through the graveyard, weaving in and out of graves scattered here and there. Gerard stopped walking and Jordan looked up. In front of them stood a small, old, run down mausoleum. Still holding her hand safely in his, Gerard led her up the three small steps that preceded the plain, wooden mausoleum door. The wooden planks that formed the door ran vertical. There were uneven spaces in between them, and through them, Jordan could see flecks of light coming from inside. From the way that Gerard opened the door of the mausoleum, she suspected that he had been here before. Most people would have opened it with extreme caution as if they expecting a skeleton to pop out at them. Gerard pushed it open with such ease; it made her feel even safer. As they entered the mausoleum, Jordan was speechless. There were candles scattered everywhere. Each one of them was lit, and they created a mixed aroma of cinnamon and vanilla. The stone walls were slightly eroded. The ground was covered with nothing but a layer of cold, hard stone. This place was like none other she had ever seen or even imagined. The air that surrounded her was freezing cold, which was strange since the autumn air outside felt wonderful. Noticing a shiny black coffin in the corner, Jordan walked over to it. "Is there a body in there?" she asked Gerard. "No." he replied. "This place is pretty much unused." "Pretty much?" she questioned. "Well, no one really knows about it but me. Not even Mikey. This is like my own little private getaway." "Did you put all the candles in here?" Jordan asked him. "Yeah." Gerard sounded somewhat embarrassed. "They're beautiful." Jordan said as she was admiring them. Taking comfort in knowing that a dead body wasn't going to jump out at her, Jordan hoisted herself upon the coffin. For a moment, she just sat there, taking in the beauty of the mausoleum. She moved her gaze from the dark ceiling to Gerard, who was standing there silently in front of her. She sat there motionless; just staring into his eyes, once again trying to read him. "What are you thinking about?" Gerard asked her. His voice almost startled her. She was so lost in him that she didn't expect to hear his voice. It still didn't seem real to her. After a few seconds, she answered honestly, "You." Gerard was actually surprised at her answer. "Me?" he asked. "Why?" Jordan blushed slightly as she continued to stare into his eyes. There was something about them. A deep, mysterious quality in them that wouldn't allow her to look away. "Come sit down." She said. Slowly, he walked over to the coffin she was sitting on and positioned himself on the coffin right next to her. They were thigh to thigh now. Gerard wrapped his arms around Jordan and rested his head on her shoulder. By now, Jordan was completely overwhelmed by the interest and affection Gerard had shown for her that out of nowhere, tears formed in her eyes, and began streaming down her cheeks one after another. "What's wrong, princess?" Gerard asked, raising his head. "Nothing... I'm, I'm just... overwhelmed." She managed to say in between sniffles. "Did I make you sad or something?" Gerard worried. "Did I do something you didn't like?" "No. Not at all." She assured him. "Everything has been beautiful. That's why I'm crying. I'm such a loser." "No you're not." He said sincerely as he lifted her chin. She wanted more than anything to kiss him. She was afraid to, but she was so shaken up by everything, that slowly she pressed her lips against his. Gerard closed his eyes and kissed her back. She pulled away and said, "I'm so sorry. I-I don't even know what I was thinking. I... " Gerard placed his hands on her cheeks and ran his fingers slowly through her long hair. "What is there to be sorry about?" he whispered. She opened her mouth to speak, but he gave her no time to talk. He held her head gently in his hands and tenderly touched his lips to hers. They stayed this way until Gerard removed his lips and positioned his forehead against hers. Jordan was breath taken by now. She felt her whole body go numb. Her heart rate increased with every breath she took and once again, tears began to fall from her eyes. One by one, Gerard wiped them from her face. "Don't cry, sugar." He said. "There's nothing to cry about." "Earlier... " Jordan started. "You said you were nothing special, but you are, Gerard... you are. I'm the one that's nothing special. Why did you pick me? You could have any girl you wanted." "Pick you?" he asked. "What do you mean? From the moment I first saw you, even if it was just a little while ago, I felt something special coming from you. I wasn't sure exactly what it was, but now I do. You're not like any girl I've ever met. And I mean that. And I don't just mean out of all the crazy fans I've met either." He cracked a smile, which made her laugh. "I mean out of everybody. Everybody I've ever met. You give me a feeling of wholeness and protection that I've never felt with anyone in my life. When I'm with you, I feel so safe." Jordan gazed into his eyes and noticed him tearing up. His green eyes were glazed with tears. He blinked, and a tear streamed down his pale cheek. He looked up and met her eyes. Gerard leaned his head in closer to hers. Jordan closed her eyes and parted her lips. She leaned in the short remaining distance between them. As their lips collided, Jordan nearly melted. She felt her heart beat faster and faster with every time that Gerard took her lip in between his own. He gently grazed the interior of her mouth with his tongue, and then slightly bit down on her bottom lip with his teeth. The slight sensation of pain was amazing. "Bite harder." She managed to whisper to him in between their kisses. Gerard took her bottom lip between his lips again and bit down slowly, increasing the pressure as his teeth sank deeper into her lip. Drops of blood appeared on the surface of her lip and he slowly released his pressure on her lip. He then leaned in to kiss her again, pulling away with some of her own blood on his mouth. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ray and Bob returned to the room they had been in before the awards show. Gerard had told them that he was scheduled to do some sort of interview right after the show had ended. They discovered that Frankie had also returned to the same room as before, burrito-less and clearly pissed about something. "Dude, Frankie no burritos huh?" Ray joked. Frankie ignored his remark and replied with "I think Mikey must've eaten something bad earlier 'cause he's been locked in that bathroom for the past like three hours." "Three hours?" Bob asked sounding almost shocked. "Wait. How would you have known? I thought you went out to fulfill your oh so important desire for microwave burritos." "Well... " Frankie started. "I planned to go find some, but I made it out the door and a little ways down that first hall thingy there, and I decided I didn't want them anymore. Well, it's not that I didn't want them. I just didn't feel like exerting the effort to actually go find them." "Why didn't you come sit with us in there then?" Bob asked. "Because I've been having to piss so bad, I think I would've gone in my pants onstage from all the excitement." Frankie replied completely seriously. "Uh, why didn't you go to the bathroom?" Ray asked. Frankie pointed to the back of the room to the where the bathroom was and said, "Because I don't even wanna go near that bathroom after Mikey's been tearing it up in there for the past like three hours. I'm too scared." "Well don't you think we'd better check on him?" Ray asked. Bob and Frank both gave him blank stares. "We?" Bob finally said. "I'm not going near that thing." "Fine." Ray said. "I'll check on the poor guy myself. I just hope we didn't eat the same thing today." He went through the list of everything he had eaten that day in his mind, but when the list became way too long, and he couldn't remember anything Mikey ate, he gave up. Ray knocked on the bathroom door. "Mikey?" he said loudly. "You ok in there? Frankie said you've been tearing it up in there for the last three hours. You sick?" "Three hours? Shit." Mikey said under his breath. He and Kelsey hadn't even realized how long they had been in the bathroom. They didn't even really realize that they were still actually in the bathroom until Ray had knocked. "Shit. What do we do?" Mikey began to panic. "Chill out. It's simple... just pretend to be sick, like they all think you are. I can say I uh, was... uh, taking care of you." Kelsey suggested. "Well, I guess that's about the only option we've got at the moment." Mikey went to the door and unlocked it, letting Ray in. Ray had his face squished up as if he were trying not to inhale too much. Mikey was bent over at the waist, clutching his stomach as if he had serious cramps or gas. Kelsey tried not to laugh as Mikey let out a few moans to confirm that he wasn't feeling well. Out of the corner of her eye, Kelsey noticed Frankie and Bob coming closer to the bathroom, both of them covering their noses and parts of their mouths with their hands. Kelsey, deciding to mess with them, pretended to gag as she acted like she got a whiff near the toilet. This reminded her of the time Jordan had brought a fart machine to one of their friend's birthday parties, and everyone pretended to smell it whenever they heard it make the noises. She noticed Frankie beginning to look sick, and she wondered how he had actually convinced himself that it smelt so bad. "I think I need to lay down now." Mikey said, wanting to clear the awkwardness of the bathroom area. "Good idea." Ray said as he stepped out of the way, letting Mikey and Kelsey through. "Do you guys mind if I lay down for awhile?" Mikey asked. He was really getting into this whole playing sick thing. It looked like it was going to be much easier to get them all out of the room than he had first anticipated. "Sure, dude." Frankie said. "Take all the time you need." "I think we're gonna go check out a couple of the after parties. We'll leave you here to rest. We'll like come get you in a few hours." "Sounds good." Said Mikey. Kelsey smiled as Mikey winked at her. The rest of the guys left the room, leaving Mikey and Kelsey all by themselves. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jordan felt like her heart was going to explode at any moment. It was racing so fast she wondering how she was still breathing. "Gerard." She whispered. "I love you." Gerard looked into her with the most understanding and affectionate look she had ever seen. "I love you too." He said as he kissed her again. Jordan was overtaken with emotion as she felt Gerard's lips against hers. She laid down, pulling Gerard down with her until he was lying on top of her. They were positioned perfectly upon the old black coffin. All she wanted was to feel his touch; to hear the steady rhythm of his breaths in her ear. She felt him put his arms around her waist as he rolled them both over, until he was the one laying on the bottom. "I'm the one that should be holding you." He said. Jordan rested her head on his chest as his hands moved up to her hair, working their way through it slowly. She began to cry silently again as she felt him move his arms to her lower back. He held her close and tight. She knew he could read her mind. She knew he knew what she was thinking, and it made her feel weak and helpless in a beautiful way. "Shhhh" he said. "Don't cry, sweetheart." He began to sing to her. He sang in a low whisper, so she had to really tune into him to hear the words he was singing. She joined him and sang softly through tears. This was more emotion than she could take. Gerard singing her favorite song of all time; them singing it together... She lifted her head and body until she was looking down onto his face. She slowly traced the outline of his lips with her finger and then lowered herself down on to him so that she could kiss them with her own. She kissed him softly at first, and then the intensity of their kiss built as Gerard began to caress every part of her body he could find with his hands. She moved her hands through his hair and down his shirt and tie covered chest. This moment was killing her. It was killing both of them. They wanted to do so much more than just feel the warmth of each other's breath on their lips. Gerard wanted to do so much more than just hold her. He wanted to keep her, and protect her from everything. He pulled her as closely into his body as he could. But holding her wasn't good enough. Kissing her wasn't good enough. He wanted more. He wanted all of her. Gerard slid his hands slowly underneath the back of her corset. It wasn't exactly easy for him to get his hands in there though. Jordan had felt him messing with some of the laces in the back, but she hadn't paid much attention to it. His hands were warm against her pale skin. Every inch of her body tingled as he slowly slid his fingers up her spine. She began to tug at his tie, loosening it as much as she could without breaking away from his lips. Noticing Jordan struggling, he pulled one of his hands out of her corset and loosened his own tie the rest of the way. She finally pulled away from his lips as she pulled off his tie and began to slowly unbutton his black shirt. Gerard moved his other hand back to Jordan's corset. The laces confused his fingers, but somehow they found their way undone. He slowly sat up, bringing them both to an upright sitting position. He looked deep into her eyes and said, "I love you. More than I can even explain." His voice lowered to a whisper. "I want you." "Gerard." She said. "You can have all of me." He slid the straps of her corset off her shoulders. Then he began to undo each hook and eye on the front of it one by one. She was simultaneously undoing the last few buttons of his shirt. She pushed his shirt off of his shoulders, letting it fall down his arms and reveal his bare chest in its entirety. She noticed him shiver slightly as the cold mausoleum air hit his bare skin. She too was cold as Gerard undid the last hook and eye on her corset, opening it so that it unmasked about five inches of her bare stomach. She could tell he wanted more, but there was a look in his eyes as if he were afraid to do more. Letting him know it was ok, she slid off her corset by herself, revealing her to him. He placed his hands underneath her jawbone, and brought her face closer to his, kissing her more passionately than before. She nearly melted in his arms at that moment. Gerard ran his hands along her spine again, playing with her red and black lacey bra. She was waiting for the moment when he would unhook it and reveal her completely to him. She anticipated it for what seemed like forever. Finally, she felt its elastic tighten around her and Gerard pulled the claps inwards, and then felt it quickly loosen as he released it. Before he removed it completely, she fondled with his silver bat belt buckle and ran her hand as far as she could down his leg and then back up towards his inner thigh. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mikey pulled Kelsey down on the couch on top of him as he laid down. She could feel his ribs against her own. She loved how little he was. She looked at his face, trying to take in all his adorableness, but her thoughts were interrupted by his lips meeting her own. She laid down completely on top of his thin body and she felt herself begin to shake as he kissed her more and more intensely. She pulled away for a moment and removed his broken glasses. Even taped, they were sexy to her, but now was not the time for them to be in the way. She tossed them aside, and kissed him again. He smiled as he kissed her back. He had the most adorable smile. She felt his hands slide down her back and to the bottom of her unevenly hemmed skirt. He played with a couple of the pieces of material for awhile, teasing her. She loved the way his skinny fingers felt as they touched the bare skin on the back of her thighs. It gave her an almost ticklish feeling, and she tried to suppress her giggles. She moved her hands to his hips, wishing that all that material separating her from his true form was gone. He unbuttoned his own pants himself, allowing her to pull them down, revealing silky Spongebob boxers. "I knew it!" she thought as the character print was revealed. He looked so cute to her, just laying there underneath her in nothing but a white button up shirt with a red tie and his silky Spongebob boxers. This was such a Kodak moment, but she'd just have to take a mental picture for now. He moved his hands up from the back of her thighs to her lower back. He massaged that area for awhile, knowing he was hitting all the right places. She rubbed his stomach and all the way up to his neck. She kissed his neck softly, causing him to shiver slightly. She could tell he wanted more, so she continued to kiss up and down his neck as he moved his hands to her shoulders and removed the thick straps of her black tank top. He slid them down as far as they would go. Kelsey never would have guessed Mikey to be so take-charge. She could tell that he genuinely liked her, which made her like him even more, if that was even possible. She loved the feeling of his skinny fingers on her shoulders. She decided it was her turn to see some more, she unbuttoned his shirt at a rather quick pace from bottom to top, revealing his pale flat stomach. He was cute in every way. Everything about him was adorable, and she wanted more. He apparently did too because he sneakily slid one of his hands up her skirt. She caught him, and removed it. He was disappointed as she pulled herself up off of him and stood up. She looked at him with a teasing expression. "You want more?" she asked, already knowing his answer. "You gotta come and find it." Mikey pulled himself up off the couch, his shirt hanging open, and his tie still fully on. He grabbed her around the waist, pulling her closer to him and whispered in her ear, "I already love you. I can tell." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - They laid there for hours. Two at least. Just laying in silence, taking each other in. Their chests heaved up and down, almost simultaneously. Gerard's breath made a small piece of Jordan's hair flutter back and forth each time it came in contact with it. Her head was positioned on his chest, the top of head right under his jawbone. He had both of his hands on her. One on her bare back, gently caressing her spine, and the other on her head, running slowly through her hair. She laid her left hand in the middle of his chest. Just the feeling of his bare skin against hers would have been enough to bring her to tears, but she had cried them all out earlier. This was the most beautiful moment of her life. They could have stayed there forever, just lying in each other's arms. But time forced them to go back. Against both of their wills, they both got dressed, although their clothing wasn't pieced together nearly as well as it had been before. Jordan picked up Gerard's bat belt buckle that was lying on the ground. It was the one material thing he had that meant so much to him. He could tell that she had a thing for it. It was almost as if it meant something to her too. As she handed it to him, He closed her hand around it. "You keep it." He said smiling. "I want you to have it." "But Gerard... " she started. "Yeah, I know it means a lot to me, but so do you. I want you to keep it." He explained. She smiled and put it the back pocket of her jeans which was hard to find underneath all the layers of her skirt. "Come on, sugar." She heard him say. Gerard walked towards the door of the mausoleum and opened it for her. She exited, and he followed after her. They walked back through the cemetery, exactly they way they had come. When they reached his car, they both got in. As Jordan was buckling her seatbelt, Gerard leaned over and kissed her. She kissed him back, and before they knew it, another half hour had passed. They both just got completely lost in each other every time. Finally, Gerard started up the car, and they drove away, back to reality. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - They pulled into the exact same parking space that the car had been parked in before they left, although there were hardly any cars there now. It was dark, which made it hard for them to see exactly where they were going. Somehow, they managed to find their way back into the venue by using the back entrance that they had come upon by chance. They realized that they were in a room. Gerard seemed to recognize it. Realizing that Jordan had no idea where the hell they were, he said, "This is our 'backstage' hang out room." "Oh." She replied, examining the room. "Wait a minute." She said as she noticed movement on the floor near the end of the couch. "What the fuck is that?" She and Gerard walked over to the couch. A foot popped out past the end of the couch. They both peeked over the side to see what it was. "Kelsey?!" Jordan screamed as she saw her best friend insanely making out with Gerard's brother. "Shit!" she screamed, clearly terrified. "Jordan? What the fuck are you... Gerard?!" Mikey looked up and made eye contact with his brother. "Hey, Gee." He said totally embarrassed. Luckily for everyone, they both had their clothes on. Well, most of them. Jordan couldn't help but giggle at Mikey's silky Spongebob boxers. Neither she nor Gerard wanted to know any details about what was really going on before they had gotten there. Kelsey and Mikey stood up to be level with Gerard and Jordan. "Well, this is awkward." Mikey said after a long silence. Gerard had his arm around Jordan. "I see you found yourself a girl too, huh Gee?" Mikey said with a smirk on his face. "As a matter of fact, I did." Gerard replied, pulling Jordan closer. "Uh, Kels... " Jordan said. "Did you ever see Amy and the guys?" "No... " Kelsey replied. "They were supposed to be off looking for you. But I don't even know how long we've been gone by now. My guess is that they got sidetracked." Jordan laughed. "Amy's probably trying to pull Will and Terry out of some crazy party." "We should go find them." Gerard said, jumping into the conversation. "They probably didn't expect you guys to be gone this long." Gerard and Jordan stepped outside the room as Kelsey and Mikey pieced their clothes back together the way they should be... on their bodies. They were ready to go two minutes later, and the four of them began walking towards the loud sounds of crappy music they heard. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The four of them felt extremely out of place when they walked into a still crazy after party that was full of rappers and girls in very little clothes. They walked together in a close pack, trying to avoid eye contact with everyone. "There you are!" they heard someone scream. Amy walked over to them, dragging Will behind her. "Ames!" Jordan screamed over the loudness of the party. "Sorry we've been gone so long. We all lost track of time." "I was beginning to worry, but these party animals had no idea you were even missing. They've been busy trying to show off in front of 50 Cent by drinking twice their body weight in shots." Gerard giggled, which caused Jordan to laugh insanely. Gerard took hold of her hand once again, which made her calm down. "Looks like you guys met your boys!" Amy laughed. "Dude! Mikey Way!" said a drunken Will and he walked over to Mikey and hugged him. He must have not seen Kelsey since he nearly smothered her as he was hugging Mikey. Mikey's face was painted with a terrified expression. Jordan and Gerard could hardly keep from pissing themselves. "I love you man!" Will said as he patted Mikey on the back. "I play bass too! We're like bass brothers!" Will started giggling at his own attempt to be funny. When Amy stopped laughing, she said, "I think it's about time we headed out of here. I don't know about you guys, but I'm exhausted from keeping up with these guys." "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." Kelsey agreed. "I'm gonna go round up the rest of these children while you guys say goodbye." Said Amy. "Mikey, would you mind holding onto Will for me?" she joked. Mikey didn't have much choice since it was Will who was still latching onto him. Will was only minutes away from passing out cold. "Say goodbye?" Jordan said to herself. She hadn't thought of this. Gerard must have either heard her or read her mind since he whispered to her, "We'll meet again. Trust me." "I know." She said, tearing up. "I just don't want to have to say goodbye." Kelsey seemed to be having the same trouble saying goodbye to Mikey. Jordan looked over at her friend and saw the sad expression on her face. "Wait a minute." Mikey said. Jordan could just picture a little light bulb popping up next to his head. "What if we went with you guys? I'm sure the rest of the guys wouldn't mind a sleepover. Just as long as Amy's okay with it." A huge smile spread across Gerard's face as he looked down at Jordan. She too was smiling. "I'm sure Amy won't mind." She said happily. "Sleepover!" Will shouted out. They were all surprised that he wasn't yet passed out on Mikey's shoulder. Several minutes later, Amy came back over to them with the rest of the Ev gang. They were all wasted. Jordan could tell that Amy was a little buzzed, but nowhere near the rest of the guys. "Amy?" Jordan asked right away. "Can Gee and Mikey come back with us? Oh, and the rest of the MCR boys too?" "Sure." She said. "Why the hell not. It's gonna be pretty crowded though. But as long as you guys don't mind... " "We're used to crowded spaces." Gerard replied. "Let's go get the rest of the guys." Mikey said as if he knew exactly where they were. Kelsey and Mikey led the half-drunken group, dragging along wasted Will on their shoulders. They ended up back in the backstage room where Kelsey and Mikey had been, uh, having fun before. Sure enough, there was Frankie, Ray, and Bob sitting on the couch. "Dude, where the hell have you been?" Frankie asked. "Yeah, man. We were beginning to wonder if you'd fallen into a black hole or something." Joked Ray. "I've just been uh... " Mikey tried to come up with a fake explanation. "Right." Bob said. "You were with the girl, weren't you Michael?" "Who are all these-Amy Lee?!" Frankie said, quickly recognizing her. "At your service." She said, dipping a curtsy. Frankie blushed. It was easy to tell that he had a major crush on her. Jordan couldn't help herself. This was just too good. "Hey Frankie, why don't you wipe the drool off your chin?" she teased. Amy was getting giggly too, which meant that she was nervous... but obviously not in a bad way. "Uh, I think we better get going." Mikey cut in. "I don't know how much longer I can hold this guy." Will was out cold now. This was definitely a Kodak moment. Will, wasted and passed out on poor Mikey's shoulder. Will probably weighed twice as much as Mikey, not like that was a rare thing or anything. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Somehow, the twelve of them piled into Gerard's black SUV thingy. They decided against riding back home in the limo. "So where the hell am I going anyways?" Gerard asked, obviously confused. "I'll drive." Amy said. They switched seats, and Amy drove them all back to the hotel suite that they had been staying in for the last few days. All of them were completely exhausted by the time they actually got there. None of them even bothered to change into anything comfortable. Right now, the only thing that mattered to them was sleep. Rocky and John collapsed on the fold out couch, while Terry laid himself out on the floor; no pillows, no blankets, nothing. Will was put on to the loveseat, even though his legs hung over the edge of it about two feet. Ray and Bob wandered into Beth's room. Beth was already asleep, but they decided to lie in her bed anyways. Beth was gonna freak out when she woke up in the morning. Frankie slept with Amy in her room. It was obvious that they already had a thing for each other. They shut the door, so there's no telling what really went on in there. Of course, Kelsey and Mikey went into Kelsey's room. All through the night, random giggles could be heard coming out of the room they were in. There was probably not much sleep going on in there either. Jordan led Gerard into her room. She turned off the lights, making it completely dark. They both climbed onto the twin-sized mattress on the floor that she used as a bed when she was staying with Amy and the guys. Neither of them even bothered to clear the clothes off of the bed. Jordan snuggled close to Gerard, and almost instantly, both of them fell fast asleep.
