'He used to be so perfect... maybe he still is... maybe I'm just stupid... '

"I'm going to get some coffee", Ray said walking away from Mikey, who was intently watching Law and Order.

"Yeah, you seem like you need it", Mikey said turning the television off and walking back to his bunk.

'I wonder what he is doing... ...in that stupid bus of his. Bert. I hate him for having the one man- one person- I love loving him. It's so fucked up'

"I just need one black coffee, and some night time cold medicine" the woman behind the counter looked at him, specifically noting the tired look on his face.

"What do you need those for?", she questioned.

"I have a cold, hence the tired look on my face, I can't sleep because I'm up all night coughing and blowing my nose"

'Liar'

"Oh...sorry" she handed him some generic brand of NyQuil and sent him on his way, coffee and all.

He walked back into the bus and headed straight for his bunk, where he found Gerard and Bert making-out against the wall.

"Fuck. Can't even go to sleep around here" he said and walked out.

"Hey, Ray! You can go in there, we'll leave" Gerard said with a smile.

"Yeah, whatever." he said angrily shooting a glance towards Bert.

Ray slid into his bed and slipped a pill in his mouth, hoping that it would take immediate effect. But of course, it didn't.

"Ray?" Gerard slid the curtain to his bunk open. Ray groaned and mumbled

"Fuck off" while yanking the curtain out of Gerard's hand and sliding it back into a position so no one could see him.

"Ray fucking Toro, what is wrong with you these days?" Gerard asked yanking the curtain back open and sitting next to him.

'YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

"YOU!" , he accidentally yelled out.

'Fuck, Fuck, Fuck'

"What did I do to you?", Gerard asked, hurt, offended, and on the verge of tears.

"Just forget I said it, now go and leave me the hell alone" Ray shoved him out of his bunk hearing a loud sob and some stomping out of the room.

Next came Bert.

"What the fuck man?!", Bert yelled into Ray's bunk.

By this time the sedatives were taking their places and Ray didn't even hear him. He just drifted off into a sleepy town, quiet, and most likely northern, where he could sit and look out at the sun in a window seat, quietly kissing Gerard's head and telling him 'I love you' over and over.

"Ray!!!" Bert shoved him. There was no answer.

'How many of those was I supposed to take?'

"Jesus, Ray, how can you take 12 sleeping pills?!!!", Bert asked trying his hardest to drag him out of the bunk and call an ambulance.

"Somebody come help me!", Bert yelled desperately.

"Shit!", Gerard said helping Bert drag Ray out of his bed.

"What happened?", Mikey asked worriedly.

"Apparently, he was real tired", Bert said holding up the box of half taken sleeping pills.

"Fuck!", Mikey said calling an ambulance.

'Shit! Now what is Mikey going to think? Is he going to tell Gerard??'

"Why would he do that??" Gerard asked sobbing.

"I'll explain it at the hospital", Mikey said pulling Gerard into the ambulance with him.

"Jesus, Ray... ... ....." Gerard said still sobbing in the corner of the ambulance looking at Ray and wishing he could know what happened.

"Mr. Toro will be fine, just don't let him near any sedatives for a long while" , the doctor said tapping Gerard on the shoulder.

"Can we see him?", Gerard asked. The doctor nodded and Gerard stood up.

"Maybe I should explain why he did this before you go in there and yell at him" , pulling Gerard down.

He nodded and listened as Mikey explained all the pain Ray was put through because of Gerard and Bert's relationship and how much he loved Gerard more than his life. Gerard looked at Bert and nodded as Bert smiled and said, "Go talk to him"

Gerard walked into the room silently and Ray shot up immediately. "Hi, Ray" Gerard siad hugging him.

"Hi" Ray said coldly turning on the TV.

"We need to talk....we need to...." then Gerard kissed Ray.

"What the..." Ray started but was cut off by another kiss.

"I love you too"
