I'm driving my red baby jeep into Belleville, I pass by the old park, the school, and I park at my mom's house. It's been four years since I was back here. I can still remember my first day moving here.

It was 1991, I was fifteen; about five foot seven inches, a hundred and fifty eight pounds, chubby but still very pretty. My brown hair came to my shoulders, the streaks that were once blue now faded to gray. Hazel eyes with black around them. I wore baggy black pants and a black tank top with Rock n' Roll written in red letters. On my feel were my favorite pinstripe chucks that I still have to this day.

I was nervous as hell as I walked into Belleville High School. I hadn't been paying attention to where I was going and bumped into someone. "Sorry." I mumbled and crouched down to pick up the book I dropped. "It's okay." I looked up at the boy standing in front of me. He was about five nine, and, how should I put this, a good bit chubbier than I was and a dorky haircut. Defiantly not Mr. Teen America, but he had the most gorgeous olive colored eyes and cutest smile I had ever seen.

He held out his hand, I took it and stood up. "By the way, I'm Gerard." He said and smiled. Being as extremely shy as I was, I blushed while I said. "I'm Jax." "I don't think I've seen you around, are you new?" "Yeah, I just moved here from South Carolina." My southern accent showing through as I talked. "Would you like for me to show you around?" I smiled before replying. "Please do."

I snapped back to reality and got out of my car. I walked to the front door and knocked, after about thirty seconds the door opened. "Hi momma, did ya miss me?" My mother pulled me into a hug. "Oh god, Jax, I didn't know you were coming to visit." "I wanted it to be a surprise. Is it okay if I stay here for a few days or do I need to rent a hotel room?" " Of course you can stay here, go put your bags up stairs." I hugged her again. "Thanks momma."

I walked up to my room, and sat down on my old bed, waiting for more memories to come to me.
