Gerard looks down at the woman who changed his life forever. She was his inspiration to change the world with his music. To capture a moment with his paintings. To make people happy with his performing. There was only one other person like this, and that was his grandmother. But she's gone too. And now the only people who are left is the band. And that's barely enough to get by with.

She looks amazingly beautiful. Her starless eyes are closed, but Gerard can still remember her icy blues. The lacy top part of her black dress reminds him how angry he is with her awful parents. She absolutely hated lacy things. She prefered dull,plain things, so her parents say. Her black curls hang down past her shoulders. "Just the perfect length for her," Gerard thinks. He strokes her soft, pale cheek. He smiles sadly as he remembers how she used to take his rough face in her hands and tell him how much he is loved by her. A tear forms in his eye and falls onto her lips as Gerard blinks.

It is nearing time for her to go. Security would let her be shoved into a hole in the dark, moist earth. He would be ripped from her, no matter what he said, no matter what hid did, no matter how much he pleaded. He bent down and kissed her frozen lips, stealing the tear back from her. Life would be difficult for him now, with her gone. "Meet me in Hell," she had said, and Gerard had nodded. He had held her hand and kissed her, fighting back tears while still understanding that she wanted to leave. But then he didn't know how hard it would be for him later.

Here they were, ripping him away from her. He stood and watched from a distance as they lowered her into the ground. More tears form in his eyes as he watches the people mourn in their completely black outfits.

"So long and goodnight,my love." he whispered. Rain fell down hard. "So long and goodnight."
